You can reach undaunted 9 entirely solo. It will take longer, but you can do it.
Get all the group delve achievements.
Do all the normal dungeons.
daily quests.
If you can, get the vet no-death achieves on at least the "1" dungeons.
I have one character with undaunted 9 and other than trials I don't think she grouped for any of it.

Group Delve Achievements? Which do you mean?
I did a delve achievement - Undaunted XP didn't change.
I did a public dungeon achievement - Undaunted XP didn't change
The only things I've seen give xp are actual dungeon achievements, pledges and the undaunted quests from near the pledge-givers.
OK I'm a newb, can you take me in your group? Oh, I'm only lvl 30 yet ... so ... yeah.
I concur, mostly bc i understand that many people are in many different and sometimes difficult situations. Those people, they really wanna do that content too. Also would love the option for a duo. Hubby and I sometimes really just like it to be us, we do group but it would be awesome to have the option, esp because we started this game for something to play together, him and I.
Also, no one and nothing can "force" friendship. A lot of times the people who are mostly solo players and do group up, end up having a not so great experience. And thats just a bummer.
Yea yea, I know what many people think (mainly hardcore pve'rs) but this is what I wish for. Just wanted to put it out there.

Because friendship can really be forced, yeah.
The original elder scroll game Arena had a group you could just play your role and npc the other 3, that would be amazing and an npc running any role would be better than 90% of pugs.

Star Wars TOR sort of did this with you being about to bring different minion with you and if only two people were to enter a dungeon(mission or whatever they were called) they can bring both bring a minion but it if it was a four person group no minions. SWTOR had other problems though.Ahnastashia wrote: »The original elder scroll game Arena had a group you could just play your role and npc the other 3, that would be amazing and an npc running any role would be better than 90% of pugs.
I was also thinking if there were 2 people who wanted to do the dungeon the game could create 2 filler NPCs or 3 people and just needed that extra person.. the game would just fill in the role needed. That would be a ground breaking game innovation I think. It allows those who like grouping to group, and yet still accommodates those who don't or just can't find another player/players to do a dungeon with. Yes, I understand that is what LFG is... Still, this allows for more game options.
If the game were ever able to do this.. I would imagine that the game would create a NPS who had a CP and gear that roughly matched the person or group playing. It would not be fair to have a godlike NPC fill in I don't think.

The few low-level dungeons I did back when went fine and resulted in additions to my friends' list, but I like to take my time, read whatever's available to be read, chat up quest givers, etc. Since others aren't inclined to do this, I'd rather solo. I also just don't want to deal with the whiners terrified that their dungeon will take 5 minutes longer if someone doesn't play exactly the way they think they should.
I completely agree. I seem to be one of the only players who actually wants to read the content and hear the NPC quest givers. I understand if someone has done that dungeon or area before, but frankly even newbies often just blow past anything remotely "RP" in nature and have no tolerance for viewing the story line.

Yes yes yes. I did some craglorn content with people and yeah if you stay to talk with the npc the moment you go out of it everyone is gone, and you have to run after them xD

What he says ...
Very very easily as ... While sleeping ...

I solo normal pledges all the time. (Most of them) Only a few dungeons have some group mechanic you can't pass without a group but most normal ones are perfectly soloable. The only ones I had trouble with so far was:
Direfrost Keep (Because of pressure plates)
Darkshade caverns II (Engine guardian is a pain solo)
Blackheart Haven (Because of last boss turns you to skeleton)
Wayrest Sewers II (you need group to click the altars)
Maybe there is another one i forgot, but apart from these they are soloable on normal mode. Takes a bit of time and effort, but sometimes faster than waiting in line for a pug.

My experience so far as been joining a few guilds trying to talk in a chat that moves faster than a twitch feed, and giving up.
I'm only 45 could I solo these?
