Yes, and the profanity filther in the game also prohibits stuff like "900k" because on the internet people have used it as a bad word, instead of just a number people trade with

I think there was a thread about this issue a while ago ..someone who didn't understand why the number was filthered, when he wanted to make a trade with another person in the game.

Kinda silly,isnt it. There is more explicit language spoken by NPCs ingame than in the forums.

Vulgar language? I'm on a 24 Hour communications ban from Xbox Live for using 'vulgar language.' I am not allowed to use text chat or voice chat. My mom says if I am good I might get my text chat back by 4 PM tomorrow. I will be super good!

Lol, I'm a huge TES fan, but even I can say that the quality of writing of TES isn't even in the same ballpark of The Witcher 3. To paraphrase the great poet Samuel Jackson, it ain't even playing the same sport.

Seriously, the writing in Witcher 3 is some of the best I've ever seen in a videogame. It's almost a piece of true literature. Combined with some of the best visuals ever seen in an computer RPG, it's a true masterpiece that sets a new standard. Bethesda looks downright dated and clumsy by comparison. And that's coming from a huge TES/Fallout fan.

TES is a simple cartoon world in black and white. The Witcher is a complex and brutal adult world filled with pulsating hues of gray.

I have to agree. As much as I love TES, the dialogue has always been awful. It makes me miss the dialogue trees from Morrowind.

Even when ole Septim was all "By the nine divines!" I wanted to slap him.

Yet I could listen to Geralts inner-monologue monster tracking all day and still feel completely engaged. "Blood leads into the woods, smells of timber and mint, might be a hazarfot." Never gets old.

To be completely honest, I was surprised when the Titanborn girl from the main quest referred to Tharn as a "Bas****", which made me smile. Same goes for some other NPCs who occasionally swear. I believe that here and there, some "harsh" insults exist... I have the profanity filter disabled by the way. Perhaps that's the reason?

PS: I do not expect out of a high fantasy game plenty of swearing and names-calling, as this is not GTA nor The Witcher, the latter being a very low fantasy game setted in a much grittier environment where farmers are definitely the downtrodden and ignorant and where seeing them speaking a clean and correct English would've broken immersion way too much, whereas here in ESO insults and swear words shouldn't be included in every sentence but only in characters' most angry moments, but these are my two cents.

About the armour debate: seeing fully-covering leather suits is fine by me to be honest. No need to be attractive on the battlefield. It's different for the cloth armour but hey, look at the Hew's Bane costume that was used for the wedding. That's pretty revealing.

I thought it was a PEGI16. Not enough content or gory deaths to make this an 18 surely...even the naked parties still require pants and bras.

It got changed to PEGI18 when the justice system was released and you could kill innocents.

The game is for adults, therefore, should an occasional kid play, the game should not be censored for them. If they are playing a game for 18+, it should be their own responsibility to be mature when hearing language, not ours.
