    Lemme just say this:

Tsaesci would mop the floor with the Dunmer if they went one on one in full-scale war.
They did try. The Dunmer won. Akiviri invasion failed, thanks to the Dunmer.

To all the other races of Tamriel: You're welcome.
I'm talking one on one, not where they Akaviri decided to poke sticks at Tamriel that involved more than just the Dunmer.

    I mean, really... Akaviri=/=Tsaesci.
    OK, I'll follow your logic.

The Akiviri invasion caused a couple of other races to come to Morrowind to drive them off, but that army was a majority Dunmer (it was, after all, fought and decided in Morrowind).

But on the other side, the Tsaesci didn't come alone either. They brought the other races of Akavir with them, and even with your bias towards the Tsaesci, they still lost even with the other Akaviri races backing them up.

So no, I fully believe that 1v1, the Dunmer would beat the Tsaesci.

Of all Races Nords are the most dumbest of it all. I mean check this out.
Skip to 3 mins and 31 secs :)

Take a look at this Dumb Nord about to confront a superior Mer. Nord may have the muscles, but they lack the brain. The only good thing that they can provide to us superior Mers is a refill of a black soul gem.

    No Sovngarde for you, Nord.
WOW......ok, so you were beat up nearly daily on your way to school by a Nord, perhaps he often took your lunch money, we get it, its ok man, it was a long time ago. If it still bothers you that bad you really should get some help ;) .

You think we are so simple-minded that you can dazzle us with the bizarre curvature of your weaponry? What do you take us for, Nords?
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

(Signature idea shamelessly stolen from Abeille.)

The hlaalu are race traitors in bed with the imperials that get snuffed out when the imperials leave morrowind. Have fun

Precisely. This is why all Dunmer should join a powerful house, such as House Telvanni. We will never fall. Maybe House Sadras will prove more worthy than the N'wah-loving Hlaalu.

For me, I despise the Argonians who continue to erect their spines. Furthermore, I can tolerate bad dialogue on most races, but there is something about the Argonians' voices that really grinds me gears.

Eh, humans are just as bad, IMO. There was the Alessian Order, the Ra Gada pretty much mercilessly wiping out everyone in their chosen new lands, etc. Also, Imperials aren't lending any help to their cause in ESO lore. I think the evils of elves are played up more as their lore seems to be a bit more developed due to them being an elder race.

That being said, I can't stand playing a human in TES. I'll play everything else, just not a human. :P Not a fan of their lore and I always play something other than human in MMOs.

@JinMori, the Dunmer are straight up ******** though.

Let's see how hard I can trigger @MythicEmperor.

The Tribunal Temple aren't "really" gods. They were five buddies: Indoril Nerevar, Almalexia, Sotha Sil, Vivec, and Dagoth Ur, who went to fight the Dwarves. When they were ready to assault the Dwarven stronghold, the Dwemer made a slight miscalculation and either beamed up, or obliterated themselves. Nerevar and Dagoth Ur went in to poke around and figure out what happened, while Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec chilled outside. Nerevar and Dagoth Ur found the tools the dwarves used, and Nerevar told Dagoth Ur to keep an eye on them, while he went to check in on his buddies.

Then, Nerevar's wife murdered him, with the help of Sotha Sil andn Vivec. They went back in, attacked Dagoth Ur, and then used those tools (The Heart of Lorkhan) to turn themselves into godlike beings. This pissed off a daedric prince (Azura, if you're wondering), who proceeded to alter the Chimer (who looked basically like Altmer at this point) singing their skin, turning their eyes red, in retribution for the hubris of those three. They then claimed, "no, really guys, we're gods now. Dagoth Ur went mad, and murdered Nerevar."

Yeah, no, the Dunmer are hypocrites and ********. They also follow false gods. As in, literally, the Tribunal are simply mortals, who used a divine artifact to gain immense power. Vivec pretends he's all knowing and wise, but if his logic seems a bit flimsy... that's because he's making it up as he goes. Almalexia is a shallow *****, with incredibly thin skin, who will gleefully murder people because she feels they're not adoring her enough. And, Sotha Sil doesn't care about much of anything, so long as he's got toys to play with.

    So... yeah. That's the Dunmer.

    1. More than likely, the Dwemer became the skin of the Numidium.

    2. We don't know for sure how Nerevar died, but it was most likely foul murder

    3. Vivec achieved CHIM, so he, at the very least, has full godhood. Tons of great sources and discussions on this.

    I'm positive Magnus was Mer.

Men are later formed and more closely related to animals and beasts.

Inherently Mer are more sophisticated and powerful.

Mer are more closely related to Divinity

Why, would you, Man-Beast, think you can compare to that which is of a God?

No, no, no. Nope. Spend some time in the Imperial Library.

Because the elven belief is actually wrong, Humans and Elves both Descend from the same ancestor only elves try to deny it.

Now I will tell you why Humans are Superior....

    1. Female Elves are stated to be much less fertile then Female Humans, now if anything is to go by then male elves are very likely to be...smaller, they are also physically weaker then men are.

    2. Humans have Talos and he is an actual God where as Almalexia, Vivec and Sotha Sil are "False" Gods.

    3. Most problems in Tamriel were caused due to elven stupidity and their Lack of common sense, Kagronac was an elf and caused the Dwemer race to go extinct, Mannimarco was an Elf and caused the Planemeld, Mankar Camoran was another silly little Elf and caused the Oblivion Crisis, the world would be better off without them.

    4. In the majority of historic battles between Men and Mer, the Elves Lost, Snow Elves attacked Saathal and Got wiped out by the Nords, Ayleids tried to Enslsave the Alesians and got wiped out by the Nedes.. Your just lucky the Nords haven't decided to go wipe out all elven kind because knowing their track record they may very well succeed.

    5. Elves Religious Beliefs are so laughably wrong, the Dunmer believe a bunch of Fake Gods are Divine, The Altmer believe that being a Descendent of the Et'Ada makes them special, well guess what the Humans Descended from the wondering Ehlnofey and where do you think the Ehlnofey came from? yeah they came from Aedra as well so the truth is Humans and Elves are related, Elves are just in Denial and cant accept that fact, but so what if they came before Humans, that just means Elves are primitive and Humans are more Evolved, that and Elven facial features such as their brows resemble those of Neanderthals.

    6. Sheogorath takes the form of a Human...enough said.

    7. Humans have this guy on their side who was an actual Demi-God and slaughtered legions of Ayleids single handed.

From my understanding of the elder scrolls lore, most high elves are not like the thalmor.

Well, yes, dunmer are ***, and daedric prince worshippers, also false god worshippers, and slavers, but i really like the passives.

What's wrong with worshiping a daedric prince?

Because I'd rather worship a daedric princess.

What a great read! Really enjoyed your post @ArchMikem :) I also have a dislike for Dunmer slavers, it's terrible what they did to the Argonians and other races, but I agree that they aren't all bad, just the crazy ones :D

I want to come out off the closet too: I hate bosmer in this game. They are really tiny and look like they have a bad skin, even when they do not. Most of them are nosy and unthoughtful.

They were one of my favourite race in Skyrim, and maybe Oblivion too. (Khajiit being on top of all)

    Now it's said. Sorry.

I am actually really glad that they are short. They are supposed to be, and Skyrim's races were too equal in height.
