No_True_Scotsman✭✭✭✭You've stolen my spoon, n'wah! Now you must die.Vivec's such a basket case of contradictions and inner conflict. I love it. He betrays his best friend, who basically saved him from a life of poverty and prostitution, in order to achieve (ostensibly) immortality and godhood. He then feels so bad about it that he rewrites his own mythic history so that it never happened .... although it still did and so he still feels pretty bad about it. He then basically counsels the Nerevarine to kill him because he's been a bad, bad magical hermaphrodite. But he's also not really dead, depending on who tells the story. My favorite character in TES. He is an encapsulation of how the web of apparent contradictions are actually part of the greater whole of what this story is.Edited by No_True_Scotsman on February 3, 2017 4:00PM3 -

Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

Alemaxia went mad in the end, even killing secluded madman that Sotha Sil was, is and will be. Vivec stayed moderatly sane even after playing "cave explorer" with Molag Bal. For some reason, I got the idea that Vivec is the one that care the most about his ppl.

I detest Ordinators and haven't met a Buoyant Armiger who wouldn't be better off dead. Going back to Vvardenfell might be problematic...3 -
