MOL weapons arent glowing
Some may think its weird for me to think this way, but i think that the glowing effect on the MOL weapons are an essencial part of their design and looks, so i was very dissapointed when i finnaly got my last alkosh weapon and it didnt glow. i know it deosnt change the effect of the weapon, but i really do like the glow. so does anyone know why it doesnt glow, is it just a visual bug or what? and the trait was powered if that changes anything.

✭✭✭✭✭This may not be all there is to it, but I've noticed some stuff with which weapons do and don't glow.
- Infused Maw of Lorkhaj set weapons never glow. I've noticed Infused weapons of each set with many different weapons do not glow
Powered may be the second trait this applies to. I have only equipped a handle of powered MoL weapons and none glowed.
*Unless someone can find a MoL weapon to directly counteract my own findings, it seems Infused/Powered weapons do not glow.*
On the bright side, Defending, Precise, and Sharpened weapons do glow!

Dont think so... I have a Moondancer staff (precise) with a crafted glyph and it glows.
Seems like its actually related to the trait... For example, decisive dagger and axe of Alkosh and Moondancer dagger dont glow at all.But defending, precise and sharpened weapons seem to look fine, even if their enchant was replaced. Infused shields also look fine (the char on the pictures above wears an infused Alkosh shield).

Oh! That must be it, then! The original traits have the glow. When ZOS expanded the loot table in Update 10 for the new traits, the items with the new traits didn't get the glow effect attached to their item IDs (probably the same kind of mistake that caused those items to be initially BoE instead of BoP).

Well it the case for my Lunar Bastion sword atleast then, it never glew a black glow unless the default enchantment was drained completely. But this sword is Decisive so idk.

✭I'm thinking this is just a visual bug. My shield sometimes just loses it's glow. If I unequip then re-equip it, it sometimes comes back, sometimes not.
