I have a better idea! (post your idea in the comments)
    1. Move existing outlaw and wilderness guild kiosks to point of interest locations like Alcaire Castle, Dragonstar, and that Kynesgrove area around Breda's pavilion (replace those hostiles with kiosks and move the hostiles farther away from that site)
1a. Because seriously, Kynesgrove and Alcaire already sound like shopping centers anyway.
    2. Make bids for 14 day lease, not 7.
    3. If a guild disbands with an active kiosk, up to three guilds leaders may claim it for the remainder of the time at a flat rate of 1.5 million gold. The kiosk will revert to a template appearance but all three guilds will appear in the welcome screen in random order.
    4. Let guilds customize their kiosks, allowing them to visually advertise. No more items you can steal/loot at kiosks.
    5. New guilds can petition to build a new kiosk in seasonally-added, ZOS-selected city expansion spaces for a flat rate of 3 million gold. Petition can only be placed at lease bid deadline and other guilds cannot bid for this site for one lease period.
    6. Improve the kiosk search UI substantially. It sucks and whoever designed it and left it like this for nearly three years should not be proud of themselves.
    7. Turn those outlaw and wilderness trader locations into individual sale posting boards. 2 posts per person per site per week. Because if you only have two slots you'll hopefully spend them on good items instead of 2 grease and a green prosperous martial knowledge bow.

Aaaand this already feels like more work than ZOS will ever commit to...

There is no need to fix what isn't broken.

While that statement is correct; it clearly can NOT be applied to the current trade system.

Even the top-end trade guilds who have benefited most from the current system are now complaining it is broken.

That said I don't want a global auction house either.

I'd prefer regional Trade Markets - the main city in each map having 80% of total trade outlets for the map.
Have all the Kiosks relatively central, so that none are significantly better than others - will lead to declining Kiosk prices. Also have a Free Trader - that allows any player - even those not in trade guilds - to list 10 items per week, at higher tax rates.

More sellers in one place will lead to price competition. Which leads to more buyers in one place, which leads to higher overall sales, which leads to more profit in the long run.

To all those saying we need a global auction house.

Exactly how would it work because you'd still have to go to a trader location.

I assume you all believe that anything listed should show up for everyone.

    O K

But then realize if each guild has a max limit of listed items now....how much less would a global system allow?

    5 - 10 items per character ?
    Let's say it's still 30 items.

Would anyone scroll through the pages and pages of listed items....No

Ppl don't do it now in general
What's the purpose of guild store Sid you do this?

What happens to all the items in a guild store?

So please detail how a global auction house is a better way in terms of this game and not any other MMO example. Just this game

ZoS could meet us 1/2 way and give us a frickin search button. I know the logical choice "Global Auction House" is out of the question cuz either ZoS doesn't know how to code a proper database or they don't want to lose the gold sink on the bids or both.

So you want to create more messages and potentially contribute to the server bandwidth strain?

Honestly I'd disagree that it's needed or good.

Perhaps ppl should work on learning how to form and be apart of a guild vs trying to grind and farm only to sale stuff. A lot of the desires aren't because players can't find items. It cause they believe they can better sale stuff.

Guild trader sucks, cos when your top trading guild lost a guild trader for the week, you sold 0 items, which means we don't have enough guild traders around for everyone to sell and earn gold. Time to increase guild traders or revamp it!

Have you thought about joining a regular guild tho?

Wouldn't it seem more viable to be in a guild who does the content you enjoy as well as having player who may desire the items you want to sale?

Wouldn't that be a much better use of a guild overall? Just asking

People on the consoles desperately need an interface like Awesome Guild Store. People on the PC just need to use the addon.

Anyway, I can find anything I need or want in one town's kiosks and the 5 guild stores that I am member of in the bank. The people who want an Auction House, aside from the bad Stock UI for using the Kiosks, just don't want to look for rare items or bargains. Rare items should take time and effort to find, and just because you have Gold, does not mean that process should be short cut. And, for bargains, time is money, spend the time looking for the lowest price, or spend the gold on the price that is right in front of you.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

The guild trader system is terrible. I've never played an MMO where a person couldn't sell their unique items without being in a guild specifically made for that purpose. And if a person wants to make real money they have to be in a high level trade guild and pay dues and never take more than a week off from the game. And if you are having trouble finding a specific item? Good luck, you may never find it. People actually like this system? It's an inconvenience to most players, is clunky and time-consuming, and works against everyone who is not into the economic game. It is by far the worst trading setup in any MMO I've seen.

You join a open or closed club and either type and or screen and type. Ppl can comment or chat and none of that requires a guild or trader.

Price checking ....shrug....I personally don't get into that. If I want it, I buy it. I don't care if there's a cheaper price unless I don't want to spend X amount.

    COD and move on.

I have regular guild too, got 5 guilds already. The problem with regular guild is they sell worse.
With the top trading guild, my 30 items will be sold if they have a guild trader. The regular guild will not sell any even at low price, and less populated.

Id like to see a zenimax trader kiosk set up somewhere for the people that cant get into decent trader guilds. You dont have to join just list your wares.
No bidding on it, its always there like an auction house but the trading guilds carry on like normal.

People already use the TTC website that shows when exactly something gets listed if someones using that Mod I would guess since you would need the mod to upload it to the website itself.

It would be better to ask this question a few weeks later, when everyone will be looking for dark elf chairs or breton book shelves. It is fine to look through 10 cities for a piece of gear once in a while, but good luck to find decorations you want.
