I hope that in this day and age Zenimax/ZOS is using the best of what's available to protect and ensure their customers' privacy and data.

Lol
Good to see you monitoring the forums, but you still never answered my question about why a Ddos attack on the NA servers would cause problems on the EU servers? You seem to have missed this question during your monitoring
Most of them would have weekends off and only leaving the tech guys to deal with it , can't expect a community manager to work 7 days a week. It's pretty *** poor to see this post days after it happened.
Why not identify which you guys did and started working on it which you did.
How about taking 1 minute ( 60 seconds ) to post this thread while these issues occur.
Seems like pretty bad management to me.
This is starting to become just an excuse now, real or not. It's convenient and easy blaming.

You must have forgotten the bug they had during the first week of launch, when you could randomly log into someone else's account while logging into yours

I agree, for two reasons.
- DDoS attacks are typically sustained attacks. Not something that lasts for 20s, stops, and then starts up again an hour or two later.
- They should disrupt all communication between the server and client. Yet zone and guild chat kept working while in-world stuff--ability usage, etc.--stopped.

It's probably the RNG AI becoming sentient and no longer wanting to do wimpy random numbers...he wants to make MEANINGFUL CHOICES.

Dark anchor will spawn in ZOS cafeteria!
@ZOS_JessicaFolsom can we get a status update post on what's going down this time...?
