Dual wield nerf

Real short and simple.

Dual wield off hand damage should not be decreased to be in line with two hand. The argument of "you can fit an extra 5 piece" is crap because maelstrom 2h would just give you more wpn damage.
If the change goes through, please make the stamina return on dw and 2h equal because as it stands right now the stam return on dw heavy is lowest of all stamina based weapon types.
It's time we make daggers give spell critical as well as weapon critical.

    This game is always going to be a mess until they start balancing PvP and PvE separately.

    2H is OP in Cyrodiil already. Nerfing competing weapons is a bad idea in that context.

    If they need to balance the weapons for PvE, that's fine, but then they should also reduce the tooltip damage for 2H somewhat for PvP.

    Other games have abilities that say, "Does X damage in PvE and Y damage in PvP", so I don't know why Zos refuses to consider this obvious solution to the problem.

    Constant balancing is normal in any mmo, but it's a roller coaster ride in ESO.

    It's not much of a nerf, since it's less than a 1% change in your damage output.

    It's just a consistency change. Again, it's putting DW in line with 2H melee weapons, not 2H ranged weapons. Granted, I will agree that it's an unnecessary consistency change since nobody ever picked DW over 2H because of that tiny bit of extra stat. But that's all that it is: consistency. I seriously doubt that decreasing your damage by literally a fraction of a percent was intended as a balance change.

    Totally agreed. It really doesn't make much sense to bring dual wield on par with 2h when you consider that, at least in PvP, 2H is the most complete kit and by running dual wield you were already sacrificing much by giving up a burst heal, gap closer, and mobility/ranged damage from viably using a bow. If they did this change to balance 2h and Dual Wield in PvE, well that's another senseless move as 2h will never compete with dual wield in PvE unless both lines are completely redesigned.

    Dual Wielding also gives much variety and diversity to magicka based play styles that I don't wanna see taken away.
