No, but I used to love it when mobs of yellow and red would chase me. I did everything in my power to run across the map in a mad Forrest Gump-like dash. And then I'd willingly die in the middle of nowhere so I could bloodport quickly.
Meanwhile, whilst the herd was chasing me, the other 10+ stealthed people I was with have broken down the front door and most likely taken the courtyard, killing the other remaining defenders as the group split apart to stupidly give me chase.
Yeah it seems to me that better question is "Why do you run?"
I don't get it in a game where there are ZERO consequences to dying in PVP why not just take the hit and respawn. Why spend 5 minutes trying to run across the map away from multiple attackers (I assume this is a situation where you are outnumbered, if you are running from 1 v 1 non-emp you should quit the game) when you can just take an honorable death, try to take one or two with you, and then respawn fresh at a keep no worst for the wear.
The only time I can see running away as a valid tactic is if you are rolling deep into enemy territory for some reason and a respawn means a long ass ride.

What made me laugh though was that clearly the soundtrack is what you hear when you're playing PvP.
What I hear when I'm playing is the theme to Benny Hill.

Thank you @WillhelmBlack!
I quit the game a month or so ago after one too many "maintenance" patches that broke the game for me. And I've been in a generally better mood ever since. I could almost hear my computer thank me when I removed it from my hard drive
Nonetheless I rather enjoyed that video of yoursI've many good memories of this most peculiar of online games.

I believe that most of the groups that end up chasing us do so because the players simply don't know better. There's an enemy, therefore chase it and kill the enemy. Did he die? Good job everyone, we killed the enemy. That's the thought process that I imagine exists -- they don't have respect for even numbers and honorable fights because they simply haven't been indoctrinated with that. Think about the types of players these are and who they play with. They are likely newer players, or play primarily with large guilds aimed at playing the map with pug groups. Think of who's teaching them inside these guilds and the lessons they've been instilled with. They don't care or have a thought for numbers or individual skill. Just kill the enemy, regardless of context.
Lots of generalization there, but that's the thought process I imagine goes through people's heads when they 12v1 chase me across the map. Since realizing this, I've become a much less salty player toward the chasers. They're just out to kill the enemy.
