Hello, I'm Emothic and I created this thread to see what your reponses are.

All the deaths in vMA. They're all BS.
"Oh come on!"
This I yell all the time when someone is killing me in Cyrodiil and I cannot even fight back.
The 2nd key, final key of the day. Yes! Engine Guardian with Impenetrable... light armor. "Oh come on! 3 hours of fighting the final boss with the added challenge for the 2nd key. And I get the right set, the right trait, but the wrong armor class." I ranted and complained.
So now what about you, I'm sure many of you have something that makes you say "oh come on!".

First, congrats on completing vet CoS. Doesn't matter if first time completing or not. Yes, it can be a tough one for newer or folks not yet used to the dungeon. Ok.. now then. Not getting what you want from just two keys is really nothing to rant about, though. I had 30 something keys left over for the transition into this current pledges/3 chests setup. I was looking for a Selene shoulder (which I have the helm), but no shoulder after all those keys. I got 20 something more keys and still no shoulder piece. Not one.. not even one crappy training or prosperous shoulder piece. Currently, I have about 90 keys sitting in my inventory, and I am hesitant to even bother to begin using these keys again in pursuit of the Selene shoulder piece. Got lots of other monster pieces, though, but utterly useless because I don't have the head piece or like the traits.
However, I do understand your frustration. I can empathize. When you finally beat a grueling event, you want to be rewarded or at least get a better drop. Unfortunately, drops do not correspond to how hard or how much more efforts it had taken to complete an event. You would think, or it would just be so awesome that, if you had soloed a dungeon or world boss (because more efforts are being put forward) that you would get a better drop. Ha ha, not so, my friend. Not how it works in ESO.
Well, bottom line is, I believe.. although, there are lots of good monster pieces and other items/armor/weapon/jewelry pieces, not getting that one you are looking for or pursuing, is what is so heartbreaking and frustrating; particularly after many repeating tries (i.e., yes vMA deserve an honorable mention here.)

I think you're reading into my story a little to much. I didn't rant because I didn't get what I want, I complained because I got close to what I was wanting. I got 2 out of 3. Now yes I spent 3 hours and didn't get what I wanted, I would of felt better if I didn't get the shoulder piece at all then I would if I got 2 out of the 3 requirements for it. Basically the best comparason would be: You spend $1 on a scratch off ticket, you can win $50 but you have to match three numbers to win. Your first number is a 7, and your second number is a 7. You scratch off the last area and see a 6, so close.
Now to compare. That $1 you spent is that of the 3 hours of fighting the final boss. Winning the $50 is the reward or item that I'm needing, that being the Monster set shoulders. And matching the three numbers to win are compared to the chances of me getting the 3 requirements I need to use that shoulder piece.
So in short, my "oh come on!" moment was because I was so close but yet not quite there.
