If this was brought in it would be amazing for subscribers and a huge incentive to subscribe.
that said it would be unfair for those who dont subscribe, as it would also (likley) mean that inventory space would never be increased.
Crafting bag is good enough.
We need a big increase on storage, both bank space and house storage (sad it won't happen with Homestead), but not infinite space.
Unlimited is too much, although given that houses have double the "stuff" limit if you are an ESO+ member having double the bank space would be an amazing incentive to subscribe to ESO+.
Not needed, we already have the craft bag and that is enough to free up my bank space. Don't get me wrong I like extra space as I tend to horde but there no point. I think they could make better incentives for eso+, but not this.
Unlimited space would be impossible, but i could see another 200 or so slots being a sub only benefit.
I wouldnt be surprise if they made an assistant for 50$ that 200 slots either. Actually, i would expect it to be an assistant instead of something 'free'.
if you already pay for the sub, they dont get additional money and with how the cash shop is going, i expect them to milk money before adding value.
If zos wants to keep changing all the gear so that we can only be FoTM, then a storage space to hold the 'what me might need' wouldn't be bad.
I feel like that is too big of an advantage. We have the crafting bags already.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
Meet my characters:
Command: Do the thing.
Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded. Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way. Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing. Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe. Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources. Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources". Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me. Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear. Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem. Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
I don't know about "unlimited", but I certainly wouldn't mind a boost. I'm maxed out on bank spaces but STILL find myself having to play an inventory management game just so I can get gear to my lower-level players for deconstruction and crafting skill training.

They're never going to fix their inventory problem because they've already dug themselves a deep hole with the shared bank and the craft bag. The ganked themselves with a quick paid fix instead of an actual solution.
But I can't use 12 character simultaneously, so I just rotate inventory onto the ones I'm not using daily. I shouldn't have to do that, though, because most games should just be copying the great inventory system WoW has. Individual banks, expansion slots with variable bag sizes, and ability to mail items to your other characters. The only thing you can't do in WoW is deposit currency into the bank, but when you're not sharing a bank that's not really an issue.
It should never be about infinite quantity. Give players enough space to be comfortable but not enough to potentially wreck your game's economy. And for the love of Sheo, make it that glyphs, recipes, and single motif pages can stack up to 10. Would you really stick with a bank that stored everybody's individual paperwork like this?:
Unlimited is too much - I just want my individual characters to have individual banks in addition to the shared bank (that and be able to mail stuff to my alts).
Storage in this game is too much of a problem already. Adding this would divide the playerbase way too much in my opinion.
I do believe ZOS should add the ability to purchase more bank space, as well as implement better stacking.
For example, perhaps the 200 per stack limit on materials should only apply to your character bag inventory, but unlimited stack sizes in the bank, especially for the endgame materials. As-is you give up almost a full 10 slots just for the base crafting materials to make a white endgame armor set.
How about better stacking of other items? Like a stack of identical glyphs, or identical weapons? They stack in the deconstruction menu, they should stack in your inventory, too. Identical recipes and motifs too, please!
How about adding armor set "boxes" where you can store your different armor sets, with the only requirement being that they must be the same set and the same level (and possibly the same armor style, but no quality color requirement)? These would be great for staying organized, too. They can even have a gear cap for how much can be kept inside. A maximum of 20 or 25 items would be very generous, but at least let them hold 10 pieces. Bonus points if these can be sold in guild traders (provided the set pieces themselves are BoE and can be sold of course).
How about a better way to handle monster sets? With the bad RNG and inability to trade shoulders with others I tend to keep more of these than I do for other sets. I also stockpile keys until I really want a particular shoulder, as keys take up much less space. I wish there was a better way to handle these.
Lots of different ways to tweak storage to add quality of life improvements. And none of the ones above rely on housing, either, which is another missed opportunity.
You're attempting to play with the financial emotions of ZOS by getting them to think its a good idea because they'll make money from it.
However, ZOS are in complete control of their financial emotions AND yours.
You will pay for ESO plus no matter what they do and if money isn't coming in as much they'll just release a new mount or idea like crown crates.
What will you then do? Moan on the forums and ride that same mount in game that cost 4500 crowns the next day after release.
Where is the other? This topic is not as easy as it seems.
Unlimited bank space would be a very obvious force to buy eso+.
They could add some movement originates.
For example
- Every housing should give us +10 bank space (40 house = +400 space)
- ESO+ should give use +50 bank space
- Every guild should give us +5 bank space
That is just an example, but more better like ESO+ unlimited bank space.
Or every they can sell for crown bags, for example
- Style material bag, 1000 crown
- Enchanter bag, 1500 crown
- Provisioner bag, 2000 crown
- Alchemy bag, 2500 crown
- Blacksmithing/Clothing/Woodworking 3000 crown
But I think OP didn't thing about, we have problem with sets.
Honestly, I almost destroy everything becouse the inventory problem, I don't keep armor sets, I keep almost only the monster sets. I have 2 alt for only bankspace character, but I hate to the process, store in bank, store in bank character's inventory, if I need something find it (with addon) log-in log-out log-in you forget something, and again and again, very low, not a user friendly solution.
To me more bank space it would not be a solution, more convenient wardrobe system would be a solution.
I think this would be fantastic for subscribers, but combined with the craft bag it would be such a huge incentive to subscribe that non subs would feel completely inferior unless some sort of option was offered such as a large bank upgrade or partial craft bag for crowns.
I don't think ZOS will ever add this feature, but as a subscriber, I'd love it if they did.
