Yep. I'm one of them. All traits, all styles.

Oh, I won't actually group with you or meet you in voice chat. Just make everything and send it to my mail. If it gets returned to you in 30 days, just send it back. I'm probably playing Call of Duty.

Close on all traits, but do have all styles.

LoL ! But you're far from the worst.
The worst is...
Random : need crafter
Me : what do you need ?
[snipping 15 minutes ocnversation trying to find out what he wants/needs, and agreeing on a price]
Me : ok I relog on crafter
[snipping on 5 minutes relogging time]
Me : OK I'm back on crafter, please send mats and gold so I can craft
Random : nevermind, found someone else...Stopnaggin wrote: »anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »danielpatrickkeaneub17_ESO wrote: »are there any crafters out there who know EVERY style?

Well, congratulations. There's only so much, or better said, so little you can do to reduce research time, so all you can do is wait.
People are right to say that research is not "effort" as such, but they tend to underestimate the amount of long-term organization that it requires. Being done with it is truly a relief and a feeling of accomplishment.

Not a scammer, but I'm pretty sure ZOS has said you're not allowed to sell game codes for gold.

I don't believe chasing away new players is going to be a sustainable solution.
The problem is that crafters, theorycrafters and ingame counsellors are three different things.
Anyone can choose to be one, two or even three of these, but noone HAS to be, and people too often assume that a crafter is :
- ready to help with time, gold or items
- has nothing better to do with his time
- is competent in theorycrafting
- has the patience to explain crafting mechanics such as research processes, traits or bonus items
What makes it worse is that the more people will help newbies for free, the more newbies will expect things to be crafted to them for free, or explained to them for a long time. I'm not saying people who help newbies are in the wrong or shouldn't do it. It's nice that they do it. But it has side effects with some people.
Not everything needs to be explained. Figuring things out in this game is easy - especially crafting. It doesn't take a Mensa IQ to understand. Maybe it needs a bit of time, curiosity and observation.
The question that upsets me most is probably "what mats do I need and how many...?". C'm'on, go to any crafting station and do the math.
Close seconds are "what style looks best ?" and "what class is best ?"...

I still don't see the issue. Newbies are newbies. They've been like that even before video games. If you don't really have a solution, then you really don't have a real problem.

Not a scammer, but I'm pretty sure ZOS has said you're not allowed to sell game codes for gold.
I specifically asked a green on these forums last year and was told yes this is allowed. you can google search it as I am on mobile right now.
ZOS_DaryaK wrote: »Question @ZOS_GinaBruno : Would it be against the TOS to sell one of these codes for in-game gold?
Yes. You can give the codes away but you may not sell them for in game gold or real money.
anitajoneb17_ESO wrote: »The problem is that if newbies are served/offered/given and even explained everything from the start, they don't have to put thought or time into figuring out how the game works. As a result, they go on relying on external people for everything and anything, sometimes not even knowing the amount of time and effort they ask from others.
You probably get the point.

In this case, specifically asking about a spare Imperial Edition upgrade key that the OP received via Lootcrate.
The post was 3 days ago, if you're wondering. You can find the thread here.

Thats probably because the game code is non-transferrable whereas pet codes are.
"Provided any in-game content (including pet codes) are not non-transferrable (such as game accounts etc) they *may* be exchanged for in-game resources as any other game content (like crafting materials and non-BOP items)"

Except, as I understand it, this time it was in fact the IE upgrade code, which is "in-game content."
I honestly don't know, just repeating what I read.

well for my sake I hope you are wrong. Selling pig codes for 300-400k is a nice way to earn some gold.

No. And I think you totally misunderstood what I was meaning to say.
What I mean, with regards to crafting for instance, is that if you craft stuff for newbies all the time for free, for the sake of "helping them", they'll never know what it means to craft, how the game is designed with regards to crafting, how the mats are farmed, are common or rare they are, etc.
None of what you wrote is relevant to what I said.

Now you and I both know that isn't true. You're going on a diversionary tangent.
People clueless about the ease of crafting (or more like people's laziness is more likely, and why I'm calling a falsehood with the statement), has to be a crafter's dream come true. Get some clueless snob who will pay a premium for something that takes a few clicks.
Like I said, if you don't want to make money, don't bother.
And I don't want to hear these excuses about people not wishing to pay. They pay or they don't get gear. Pretty simple. If they go on slandering you, report them. That's against the CoC/EULA/ToS. Once a few warnings go out, word will get around. These clueless noobs aren't -THAT- clueless.

Guildie; "Ok."
At no point did he ever say thank you, show a modicum of patience, tip or even think about offering to cover for my columbine.
All doing this did was cost me at least 10k in materials and my time.
