No, time in TES can only be altered by Akatosh (warp to the west) or an elder scroll (the time wound).

I wanna fight, tame and ride dragons and attacking the enemy from high in the air on a dragon.

I hope you ask those dragons for consent first. Bigoted anti-dragon rhetoric like this is why ZOS revealed that dragons will be the newest playable race in 2017.

Well, in fact, this takes place a thousand years before Skyrim, therefore right in the prime of the dragon age reign. I could be wrong...so you could save face.

Skyrim was a retun of dragons by being resurrected by Alduin. There was an actual dragon age long before eso, and moa were killed off

It wouldn't be possible. The lore states that dragons have been gone for HUNDREDS of years before Skyrim, we're talking about somewhere around 700 years, if not more. While ESO takes place only a few hundred years before Skyrim, like around 200 years. So it just wouldn't work, but I do like your idea, they could possibly make it work with Titans though, that would be sweet.

Your numbers are too small, but the logic is sound

It wouldn't be lore accurate... blah, blah, blah. Sure, I could take that route, but there's a much more interesting one.

Why? Fighting dragons is boring. Dragons are fascinating, mind you, and I'm a huge fan of many dragon-focused fantasy works (Dragonriders of Pern being a particular favourite, what with its science-fantasy leanings). However, fighting dragons is boring. It doesn't appeal to me.

It feels like the fantasy version of a bunch of parasitic sociopaths ganging up on a hard worker to steal his 401K. What, exactly, did the dragon do to earn this ire? Did anyone bother to actually investigate? And who, exactly, are these 'heroes' and what justification do they have for killing a creature and taking all of its possessions? 'Because dragon' doesn't exactly ring true with me. It sounds more like a bunch of looters and bandits trying to justify themselves as being anything other than what they truly are. I'm reminded of privateers with delusions of nobility, believing themselves better than base pirates.

The thing is? ESO is a more mature game. It deals with much more interesting topics than EPIX xenophobic dragon banditry. If you want EPIX xenophobic dragon banditry, then try another game? There are plenty out there with less intelligent plots which would happily pit you against dragons for no reason whatsoever.

Macho men fighting dragons 'cause reasons just doesn't fit, here. Frankly, if there were sociopaths ganging up on a noble creature to take its belongings? That wouldn't be the quest. The quest would be to actually slay the blackguards responsible for the aforementioned evil act.

Soooo... There you go. It just doesn't fit, thematically.

It's in the centre of Skyrim above High Hrothgar, only a dragonborn or a greybeard can get through the barrier though.

For all its shortcomings, one of the finest moments in gaming in recent years for myself was in DA:I when I ran low level into the Fereldan Frostback (after they had implemented the in-game difficulty options) . My gear sucked, my party dynamics were all wrong, yet after umpteen deaths and a couple or so hours later, I eventually brought that *** down. It was no more boring than hitting on a damage sponge that we currently encounter in some dungeons in ESO.

Alright. Help me understand why all this angst against dragons. Dragons are fun and would infuse ESO with much needed activity and player base.

Dragons died out long before ESO's timeframe and do not re-emerge until near two thousand years after this game.

Otherwise, where would you put it? How would you impliment it? A worldboss? Pfft. It'd be more like a zone boss, and maybe, just maybe, this game has other issues to figure out before it impliments those.

    Enough with the dragons.

At this point they might as well, they are already adding Christmas Trees, no point not adding things now seeing they have already broken the lore.

Having dragons during the Alliance war is completely lorewise. Those who said that it don't have no idea what they are talking about.

    EDIT: uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Atlas_of_Dragons
These are the dragons that are alive during our times and they are not hiding they also maintain close relations with other races. Also Tiber Septim himself had a dragon. Stop making up thins lorewarriors that have no clue about the lore.

Perhaps you need to re-read what you asked us to read and get an idea of what you are talking about.
ESO is 2E583....Atlas of Dragons, 2E 373 by Brother Mathnan was written 200 years before our time line.
    I quote your source....
    Grahkrindrog - Slain in 2E 184
    Krahjotdaan - Slain in 1E 2871
Mirmulnir - Last sighted in the Reach in 2E 212.
The last dragon seen was 300 years before ESO, also, for better lore sources go to https://www.imperial-library.info/.
As far as Tiber Septim, he won't even be born till 2E827 and the events you speak of are 400 years away.
It seems you have no clue about lore, not the Lore Warriors.

I changed my mind; Lore Warrior sounds MUCH cooler than Lore Junky and I want that to be a forum title instead.

I will point out that it was only one dragon that Molag Bal captured Boziikkodstrun.
    altruistic

You keep using that word; I don't think it means what you think it means.

Well good morning. I was taught that "altruistic" means being deeply devoted to something or someone above oneself.

Webster says "altruistic" means adjective 1. unselfishly concerned for or devoted to the welfare of others.

So yea my use of "altruistic" in reference to an altruistic loyalty to lore is correct enough in proper usage.

Irregardless, you seem to have understood what was meant.

    Thanks for sharing.

Yes, there should be dragons, but not as enemies.

One single dragon NPC to play a part in a story would be nice enough. We do know there are dragons in hiding across Tamriel.

Nafaalilargus, anyone? He was quite a sassy dragon if I recall from Redguard. Could be fun.

okay then - i'm just gonna ride this party bus til the wheels fall off...

i had this strong feeling i couldn't be the only one totally engrossed with the concept of being able to play a giant and fight a dragon (while in eso of course)...

it took a while - but, finally i discovered an image dealing with this very subject (ha, see i'm not alone or crazy...well, i'm not alone anyways)...
    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTkEVzi2THyNhU7dgajAfJqvln7raXGkw-HHFbr2WPmWfYRJT6G

it would appear as though the dragon may be winning at this point in the struggle???
