In 100 runs - I got all sharpen weapons apart from lightning sharpen which came later...
I really don't believe you, and if you're telling the absolute truth I feel sorry for you...
But at this time... I'm going to call it how I see it as the comment 300+ runs no sharpen as rubbish.

Minute_Waltz✭✭✭I absolutely hate people talk *** on the loot drops. Guess what, ive run vma 300+ times and i didnt even get a single weapon drop, ive got spreadsheet videos screenshots etc to back it up but i won't post it, you all gotta believe me ok? ok.
My guess is OP probably have run it 20 times max without sharpen/precise/whatever trait, which is quite possible from experience and probability etc.2 -

✭I finish first and got junk then my mate got sharp dw first go. I ran 5 times. Gave up since no system to transfer junk to useful. Best I got was bow. lockator✭✭You haven't felt true vMA pain until you meet @Decado . He has completed over 2000 runs without a sharpened or even precise fire staff. He was running vMA 10 times a day during the double drop event without any luck.
He completed vmol HM with a defending staff.

TLDR explanation: even if there's a 95% chance to get your specific destro staff after 450 runs (numbers taken from one of the charts) that's still not a guaranteed drop!
That's about 50 000 people out of a million who will be crying and having nightmares about vMA!
My conclusion: ZOS is making a lot of players unhappy with their f**ed up and unfair RNG system.
One could say "it's fair, because everyone has the same chances" - shut up, I say it's unfair, because some people have to put a lot more work into it than others to get the same reward .

@ZOS_RichLambert How can you be okay with this? Even if they are statistical outliers, your system guarantees there are extremely hard working people who will complete vMA hundreds of times without actually obtaining a reward worthwhile to them. This is one of many reasons why I seriously question the ethics of ZOS execs.2 -

If it makes you feel any better, I never saw a Sharpened Destro Staff of Any kind in my many, many, many runs of VMA to the point i simply gave up altogether.
With all the trash traits polluting the loot table your chances of getting the weapon you want are not very good at all..the deck is purposely stacked against you.
My advice is to ignore VMA, there are set ups that are just as good if not better then VMA....
For example, some folks will say 3 Willpower, 2 Engine Guardian, and 5 Seducer with VMA Destro and Resto is best in solt on Mag Sorc in PVP
However, 5 Spinner, 5 Lich, and 2 Infernal/Grotherdar is every bit as good, perhaps even better then the VMA set up
You don't need VMA weapons to have a BIS set up, luckily...welll unlucky actually...with all the new armor sets up that releasedwith One Tamriel allows people to have these just ridiclious set ups, that everyone is a house...so i wouldn't worry too much about it...honestly...

I plan on running it few more times for the maul. I always have 2-3 characters on the leaderboard each week but all i get from my rewards are gold infused lightning staves or charged axes lmao.

Yea it sucks I used to do 3-5 runs a day and during the event I did about 7 every day.I have 2 sharpened Inferno's and 2 sharp Ice staffs but I don't enjoy Playing magica and would gladly give that to someone Else,for a sharpened Greatsword and Maul.Zos hates me I guess.xskinzcity wrote: »

RNG is a ***. Chances are slim that this sort of thing can happen, but it's not impossible. You can use all the math in the world to try and prove this wrong, but a persons luck, in this sort of thing, will trump statistics.#SavePlayer12 -

All very true, if you want a specific weapon roll from vMA, 100 runs "should" be enough to get you one, but it is also random so you are likely getting the short end of the stick there. I also feel like the odds are weighted against drawing preferred weapon rolls as there are 80-100 different permutations of weapons available.Kahjit main in the Aldmeri Dominion.
