Imperial city prison dungeon (Normal) needs a nerf

I don't know how many of you agree or disagree with this but I find the normal dungeon of "Imperial city prison" a bit too powerful. So far I have been able to complete this dungeon 1/16 times I played it. I also had players in my group who are champion 300 + and still we couldn't beat the overlord boss (that zombie guy).

For now every time random dungeon hits this specific one I will always drop it cause it doesn't seem balanced for Normal dungeon level.

If you're talking about the flesh sculptor boss that brings in mobs to the central pool then I can understand why you ask this. However this fight does not need nerfing. It is a heavily mechanics based fight, requiring you to take care of the mobs before they turn into flesh atronachs.

Fights like this can be hard if you're pugging or don't have good communication.

I think the dungeon is fine as it is. They just need to change how the DLC dungeons work with the random dungeon finder. There should either be the option to exclude the DLC ones from your random search, or a minimum level requirement for the them (eg: 50).

I don't know about nerfing but unlocking it for level 10 players is just LOL.

If you have the time to post a nerf thread on the forum, you have the time to look up a tutorial for ICP.

Stop being a wuss and teach your PUGs how to beat this boss.

    Ah, that Overfiend...

He usually is the one that stops first timers in ICP.

Just keep practicing, look up guides, find help from guildies or friends and in the end you'll beat it ;)

    News flash!

There is only one Flesh Atronarch that is force spawned in that entire fight. If you get any additional Atronarchs, that is because you failed at following the mechanic, which is tossing blobs on zombies before they reach the pool in the middle.
Next, simply bash the boss when he stomps on one of your mates.
    Easy peasy.

This does not need a nerf, my buddy and I duo this dungeon when it comes up as a pledge without healing.
    :/

As for the Overfiend, I tell my friend not to focus dps on him as it forces his adds to just spawn faster and overwhelm us. When he immediately kills the adds as they spawn while I tank the zombie guy its a pretty mellow fight. You also gotta stun that harvester mob so she can't jack you up with her charge attack when she appears.

Flesh Sculptor is all about your teammate paying attention to stunning his one shot mechanic, and lobbing grenades at zombies before they reach the pool.

The watcher + mages - Kill the mages first while ignoring the watcher, then kick his butt in the middle. zzz

The big poison blobby guy with bugs and zombies? When his fists go into the ground prepare to be moving. Don't stand there waiting to see where stuffs gonna pop up. Shortly after he stops he will melee a couple of times and then run to the center to explode all the bugs. Be near the outside to avoid getting splattered by everything.

Final boss - Zoom camera out, watch portals, stop rushing. Hold block when he flies into the sky and charges up his fireball attack. And STAY AWAY from the floating orb things that drain your health resources. For a final boss he is extremely easy one you learn his pattern, and what actually hurts you.

If you do happen to accidentally fall into a portal just spam X as your falling to avoid being one shot by the impact. Unfortunately sometimes you can fall at the worst time and land right as he's doing the fireball attack, but this is really your fault anyway for not dodging the slow gigantic glowing portals of obviousness.

Yeah I've successfully soloed that boss on my Amplar on normal mode.... so not sure what you mean. Sounds like an L2P issue, and maybe a lack of mechanics knowledge.

Please, stop trying to get everything in my beloved Imperial City nerfed. The mobs in IC are already like cutting through warm butter because people complained it was too hard.
If the players in your group are having trouble, then they need to get better. Sorry, but it's true.

Oh that 300+cp guys who can't beat normal dungeons...

If there are some bad players in game, who don't know mechanics, it doesn't mean that we need to nerf everything to the baby level. Normal dungeons already are way too easy.

IC dungeons are made challenging and it's good. It can be good step to practice yourself for even harder content.

I very rarely say this, but it appears to be a L2P issue. Tank + healer + 2 dps capable of 15k+ should make short work of all the bosses on normal ICP. Anything more than that is just going to make it even easier. Try finding groups in guild and ask friends. Use voice chat for communication. It really isn't that hard. Instead of asking for a nerf, you should first be asking what you and your group can do to improve.
