One of these days the stars will align and well burn through the Warrior or Mage or Celestial Serpent. Til then F the vet trials. Maybe next weekend. Or tonight. Hehe.

There are some people that can't deal good DPS because they don't have the required gear, if they can get the gear they want. And especially from HellRa drops some good gear, then they can do better DPS.
I'm on the other end... 35-40k dps consistently and access to teamspeak but can't find a trial guild... rip all that wasted deeps

I see you're PC EU. Perhaps apply to one of the following:
Hodor
Beyond Infinity
Dragon's Crest
Well Fitted
Aquila Raiders
Pandora's Promise
Blut und Schweiss
Omnia Vincit
There are more than enough guilds running Trials on the EU server if you care to look..

Normal Hel Ra exists.

Normal is pointless, nobody wants blue jewlery and blue gear. (you can ofc upgrade the gear but still lol)
The only reason anyone would run normal is too quickly get the coffers for the motiffs thats it tbh.

This. Even if every time you do a pug you find one person who pull's their weight add them as friends. Get that friends list built up, talk to the good people and keep trying with them.I think it´s fine that this content can not be completed with random pug grps. That´s what normal mode is for.

Or better yet find a guild, which once I hit the CP cap is something I will be trying to do.
The unfortunate truth right now is that the mechanics are less important compared too DPS meaning virtually everything about the trials right now is a DPS race.
two examples:
Hel-Ra - If you cant burn the warrior down quick enough you get swamped with mobs.
Atherian archive - If you cant kill the mini mages fast enough, too many spawn and you get crushed utterly.
I havent even bothered with Maw Of Lorkaj or Sanctum ophidia - simply because everything is too much of a dps race.
Sure its important to know the mechanics in order to prevent your group from wiping but ultimately all comes down to who can burn it fast enough. Which really...is kind of sad to be honest. I want the mechanics too actually matter way more. Sure it could prove a problem for unorganised groups if they add more complicated mechanics and such but frankly the percentage of people running high DPS consistently compared to the rest of the games population is pretty small.

Oh really?
Blue gear/weapons --> just upgrade them
blue jewelry --> llik3 30 magicka/HP/stam less than the purple ones...the difference is really big
If you can't do vet, do normal. It's in the game for exactly that reason. The rewards are ok for this. If you want purple/gold, just improve to be able to do vet-mode.
