Necromancer Class or Warden Class?

If you had to pick between ZOS adding a Necromancer class, or the Warden class — which would you pick and why?

✭Neither of them, because...Please no more classes, we already have too many skill lines locked for certain characters forever. That ruins the TES feel.
However, if I absolutely had to choose between the two, I'd support Warden assuming it's a classthat has to do with nature like all those mobs in Glenumbra. Necromancer just makes 0 sense as a separate class. Necromancy is a part of Conjuration school and Sorcerer already has that - sorcs summon armor and daedra.3 -

Wardens were cut pretty early (like after pre-alpha) from ESO and will return in the future. We already know this information.
The Necromancer class was cut so early that it was likely never fully developed. It's only from lots of educated guessing that we know Necromancers were probably meant to be a playable class.
I love what the Wardens are and I'd LOVE to have a Cold-based skill line as we were originally meant to.

I could understand that. It'd make solid use of:
- Maelstrom's Ice Staff (PvE)
- Master's Ice Staff (PvP)
- Iceheart 2pcs.
- Winterborn 5pcs.
- That 1 Nordic-named set that increases the damage of cold skill damage for the 5pcs.1 -

✭Neither of them, because...As much as I love a new class (preferrably Warden), I think they really should spend that time reworking useless skills like Dragon Blood, Stone Fist, etc. 4 Classes with 15 usable skills each is better than 5 classes with 12 usable skills each.PC NA

- They've already started designing it
- Has an Ice skill line. Finally all these "cryomancer" sets (and Ysrgramors set) will come in useful
- They'd probably turn Necromancers into something like sorc pets1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Neither of them, because......if they add new classes at this point, I and many of those who have been playing since launch will be Very vexed due to not having those classes back when we made all our characters! Even if they sold more slots it would be an severe aggrivation, due to "Why was that class not available when I made my character X, it would have fit the backstory I imagine so much better..." and of course "Why should I have to make a new character now when I already done all the game with eight/twelve of them???"
Thus I always say, if they want to breathe new life into the class system (which by itself wouldn't be a bad idea), they should do it in a way for -everyone- not just new players.
And thus should do it in a way like the "prestige classes" back in AD&D, so the new can be "refitted" onto existing characters... you know... like some sort of "Class Morph"... ;-)

Necromancer would be basically pets from corpses and the pet AI in ESO sucks ***. I loved necromancer in the original guild wars but not many games have pulled it off since.

Necromancer, because...I would choose a necromancer due to you being able to access dark magic and daedric spells. For example, I would love to possess a dark magic upgrade for a destruction staff to blast dark matter at my enemies. Also, I would enjoy summoning daedric creatures such as daedroths, titans, or warriors.0 -

From what I remember, there isn't a class called "Warden" in previous games, alright. But the kinds of skill it uses are definitely a thing in the TES universe. And there are plenty of NPCs who can use them in the game already. So really no harm done on this regard.
For the necromancer, they exist as NPC classes in other TES games and in this one. But for players, I would prefer it to be a skill line and not a class. A little quest where you are granted special permission to use Necromancy would be nice. Maybe you can study it with Vastarie, the "good necromancer" you meet in Grahtwood.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair.
