Potentially New Classes? What would you like to see added?

So we have our four primary classes,
Sorcerer (Dark Mag/Daedric/lightning/ + weapon skills/ + guild skills/ + vamp/werewolf)
Dragonknight (Ardent/ Draconic/ Earthen/ + weapon skills/ + guild skills/ + vamp/werewolf)
Templar (Aedric/Dawn/Restoring/ + weapon skills/ + guild skills/ + vamp/werewolf)
Nightblade (Assassination/ Shadow/ Siphon / +weapon skills/ + guild skills/ + vamp/werewolf)

Much like how we can morph our skills, perhaps maybe the ability to morph our primary classes?
Sorcerer > Warlock/Witch > Necromancer
Dragonknight > Guardian > Berserker
Templar > Paladin > Druid
Nightblade > Bard > Archer

Warlock/Witches = Primary skills would be only of dark magic/morphs of current dark magic skills
Necromancers = Primary skills would be that of summoning the dead/daedric + blood magic

Guardians = More taunting/tanking abilities
Berserkers = Less taunting/tanking, more dps

Paladins = less heals, more tanking/buffing
Druid = no tanking, more heals/buffing

Bards = buffing/ more assassinating/siphoning skills
Archers = class specific bow skills to compliment weapon skills??

Just had these ideas in mind, yes I know many forum posts are created for the mentioning of classes, yes I know many will say no because it will "throw the balance of the game off".

Thoughts?

Though I would love to see a summoner's class. Or necromancers. Just give me minions of preferably daedric origin to fight my battles for me.
Dracane's the only person I know who can successfully play with pets as a sorc, at least on PC EU. They have no resistances, summoning them once they're dead can be interrupted, and their already mediocre damage isn't even buffed by spinner or other damage buffs.

I enjoy this idea and think it would be rad as hell but I don't trust ZOS in the slightest to implement it properly. They have a hard enough time balancing 4 classes imagine what it would be like with 12! The idea is amazing, I really would love to see it but I doubt it would ever happen in that way. I could see them adding a 5th class before they would go as far as this.

    NO. Absolutly no.

First, it appears your attempting to make the clssses into something from another game. Always a bad idea. There is a reason we no longer play that game.

Second, and most important, your ideas are extremely restrictive. Completely the opposit of ESO's foundation. It would drive players form the game just like the restrictions of 1.6 did.

    In conclusion, NO.

Oh please stop with the lame argument of "balance the class's we have". Class's will NEVER be balanced... ever ever ever... So stop asking for a pipe dream...

If you waited for class's to be balance then may as well just close up the game.. as every new content set will have an effect on balance.

WoW is over 10 years old and they still can't balance the game... every patch some from of change to certain skills, armor, weapons...

The only way to get true balance is that everyone has the same skills, same armor, same weapons with no deviation.

    So with that..

Necromancer would be a nice to have.. Also a ranger type character that has a bow/range skill line with maybe more organic pet summons.. such as the NPCs that call in animals to fight for them.

    /facepalm...

Do you whine like this every time they add a new set in the game.. that has a proc that will effect class balance...

Everytime they add a new set they are effecting balance..

What new class's would do is add more options where there are already balance issue.. .you know like the one where people treat Templars as the only healing class... It would also increase player retention, bring in new and old players to try out the new class's..

Rather then new classes I would like to see more options within classes.

For example we have fire and poison DKs right now. It would be fun to also have an ice DK. So maybe a second level of morphing. Magicka dks could stay fire or morph to ice. Not sure what the secondary morphs for poison DKs would be.

I don't get the necromancy craze, you all hate the pets now I highly doubt a skeleton or zombie would be any better.

Anything with an ice magic skill line will make me happy.

I would like a Bard class too, but I would rather have Bard as a world skill line, opened to anyone. I just invested way too much time on my main character to reroll. Also, functional instruments. Bard Guild, anyone?

I wouldn't mind rerolling my Cryomancer if they added a class with ice magic skill line but didn't add class change tokens. I made her after they started selling the character slots, so just a few months ago. If they made a Bard class, though, I would have to reroll my main character, who I made on the first day the servers went live. She has a bunch of achievements, titles and stuff... I don't think I can bring myself to delete and remake her.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

@Dracane Well part of it at least is an excellent build. Most players I know who play with pets don't go for maxing out their magicka pools for some reason. They play with seducer / bloodspawn 1h-shield or w/e, and don't slot elemental drain. Meaning they don't have enough flat damage to compensate for the slots lost, not enough max magicka to only use one shield effectively, and not enough regen to sustain.

At any rate, while it would be awesome on Zos' behalf to buff pets altogether and thus offer more diversity for sorc builds, who are more and more relegated to support roles, making a summoner/necromancer class would be an interesting choice.
And wouldn't even break the immersion all that much, given that the main quest deals with liches/necromancers.

Nature of MMOs or any RPG. Only way we could have a balanced class was to have 0 classes and everyone can just use any skill. The biggest reason for this is PvP. You can't balance skills designed to kill mobs with millions of hp against enemies that have 30k.

No Dev Team will every have skills/armor that can only be used in PvP areas so classes will never be fully balanced in any RPG.

    Necromancer-Druid equivalent

Necromancy is evil and illegal ! Stop asking for it over and over again ^^

illegal, in a video game? In what way, I believe you fell off a tree and hit your head. Suffering from a TBI?

He is talking about it being illegal in-universe. It is illegal in many places in Tamriel, and on places where it isn't illegal it is still generally frowned upon.

So is the dark brotherhood with their need to murder, or the thieves guild for thievery, whats your point?

Um... And these are affected by the justice system if you are caught, you know?

If you want to make a direct comparison with things that are not comparable, then should you get a bounty every time you use a necromancy skill near npcs? lol

Btw: I am not against a necromancy SKILL LINE. Make it so that you obtain through a quest that explains why you have special permission to use it and I'm good.

Do a necromancian class , give them the sorcerer pets , and GIVE me 2 Useful skill for PVE ! " for exemple , a skill ro refresh , who up elemental damage by X % " or a dot skill who do a Dark zone on the floor with skelettons inside ... who do damage to nearby ennemis during X second on the dots .
