Most cheap laptops doesnt have directx 12 support which ESO needed

So many pieces of misinformation in the above post that the OP should ignore.

    ESO is DX11.

And there is no way you *need* a Skylake CPU. Until I put Broadwell-E in my main PC, I was running on Ivybridge, my other PC runs it on Haswell with a GTX780 3GB at a high FPS. You don't really need an SSD for 'healthy gaming', it's just a nice to have.

The poster is on a budget, false information will not help him.

Nonetheless OP, I think you will really struggle with your budget.

ESO is annoying without SSD loadings takes forever without SSD also after i switch to SSD it increased my FPS not much but it helps.

I adviced skylake because its the latest technology its 14 nm and has low TDP and 45W its good for long session of gaming why not buying latest technology ? Its not just ESO its for general gaming and future and it supports DDR4 and its not over priced.

And yes i typed wrong there ESO is not DX12 but it will be in the future. DX11 is about to die why investing money on a dying thing ? Like betting on dying old horse.

Don't disagree that those items are all preferable but you were stating that they're a minimum and, as the poster is trying to deliver on a shoestring, that's going to mess up his thinking. Granted, I do not feel he can do what he needs to within his budget anyway, but saying he needs SSD, Gen6 etc, when he does not need that stuff at all, that's just going to make things look even more unattainable than they are.

DirectX11 is vendor supported until October 2019, and therefore whilst ZOS have talked about a DX12 update, they could not realistically abandon DX11 while still supported by Microsoft. So again yes, buying DX11 now means an update by EOY 2019, but sometimes the realities of finance have to be dealt with.

Well my reality of finance is: Buying old technology is more expansive than the buying decent and up to date technology especially for computers. Because of that i wont never advise to anyone to buy 2-3 years old PC because its a bad thing to do in my book.

You are 100% correct. I own an IT consultancy so I know precisely the impact of buying outdated gear and I would never do it myself.

But if money is tight and the requirements can be met for now by something cheaper than the latest gear, sometimes that's what people have to do as a tactical measure, while saving for something more strategic.

I think the point is moot anyway, I just don't believe ESO can be done on a 120ukp laptop.

We've moved this discussion to the PC Technical Support forums where it should receive more help.

I also want to emphasize that the minimum requirements for ESO can be found here, we cannot provide support for the game on systems that don't meet these requirements which include a dedicated graphics card that supports DirectX11. Intel graphics are integrated and do not meet the minimum requirements.

When I bought ESO, I was using a different laptop and it went very good ..I played on maxed graphics, but with each patch it ran worse and worse, to the point where I couldn't play the game at all anymore. So I bought this laptop in June and I tested its peformance in ICP.
I had 70-90 fps the first 5 days on max settings, then new patch arrived and I got 30fps with medium settings, new patch arrived and 20 on medium settings...now a few DLC's later this laptop gives me gives me 3 fps in ICP on half resolution and 10-15 fps in minimum resolution on minimum settings.

My best bet is, try to google what laptops run this game well, or ask around for that .... around £400-£700, once you find out what is decent for that price, try to google and see if you can find a used 2nd-hand laptop of the same.

Look for a strong gaming laptop refurbished ie. ASUS MSI etc. Saw a nice Alienware for $400 a few weeks ago.
