PSA about stam sorcs

I've been holding off on saying this for a while because I have friends who wrongly play stam sorc, and didn't want to hurt them but this needs to be said.

Tamerlin is right about hurricane being ridiculous overpowered combined with implosion.

So, to combat the plague of stam sorcs overtaking Cyrodiil, do one of the following things.

Slot venom arrow or crushing shock, deep breath, or bash them repeatedly.

Guess what? You can interrupt their dark deal, which gives them their sustain.

This will at least force them to build diversity to include having regen instead of just stacking damage.

Also, fasalla's guile to proc against their hurricanes.

Also if you didn't know what dark deal is and what it looks like?

It converts their magic pool into health and stamina.

It looks like they are being sassy and waving their hand in their air and then they fart a purple cloud.

Haha no problem. Might get some flak from friends who play stam sorc but most people reading forums probably already knew about this.

It's just that stamsorc is the most annoying FOTM in this game's existence. Combine that with the gearset proc meta where most damage is caused by sets and not abilities, and then combine that with the stam sorc's passives doing the execution for them without having to hit a button, it's just annoying.

They look so sad when you bash them. they are all thundery and translucent and angry looking with **** blowing all around them and then they just kinda wobble back and forth and look down at the ground like a guy who just looked at his cereal and realized trix are no longer even shaped like fruits anymore they are just little dyed balls of corn starch.

The stamina sorc have more resist and more damage that a magicka sorc ... same survavibility skill ... + the medium armor .
EXCEPT the shield of course ... but for the moment , nobody use the shield in trial ( i know ... in HM mode it's necessary ... but for the moment only some HL guild try to do them . )

Or instead of everyone in Cyrodiil being pigeonholed into running an interrupt or Fasalla's, ZoS can get rid of damage portion of Hurricane.

Yeah but they aren't going to do that and if they do it, it will be 6 months from now. So, today's PSA is the L2p for the masses.

Its stupid I watch People duel stam sorc or fight them open world and they just stand their while they heal and back to full stam bash the dude and proc exploiter on his candy behind.

Here a secret venom arrow also stop people from RD you and you do more damage to them.

Idark deal is broken. Consumes magicka use after the cast completes which mean if you interrupt it, it didn't cost them any magicka.

Wait, you are actually comparing fasallas to malubeth. Wait. Your actual response to a legit set is with malucheese?

Fassala will probably be best in slot for duels. Anyone not using it will be disadvantaged and dead. You don't need high damage numbers when your opponent can't heal.

I personally see no issue with fassala in open world Cyrodiil and don't blame anyone who runs it. If I had a tank or a Stam build I'd use it..it's the only real counter to Vigor + Rally and in some cases Tankplars.

I'm curious to see what happens after one tam. There will be a lot of folks salty over duels due to fassala being so good in such encounters it's a very hard counter to high damage specs.

No I was on a Stam DK for that particular fight. I have and play every class.

I feel no remorse wearing malubeth on a stamDK in open world versus the plethora of velidreth, vipers, and widowmakers in the world. Malubeth is basically a RNG to live an extra 6 secs vs RNG to insta-die. So it balances out the RNG gear battle a bit.

I'm not a dueler and I personally have no interest in participating in these duels. Game is so unbalanced right now, certain specs will always beat other specs. Duels are just a waste of expensive potions and PVP doesn't make you any gold to support the habit.

I know this is directed towards me. First of all, I use it because I want to challenge my self not to use blackrose. I also moved from the dizzying spam meta to dual wield, a playstyle that was rarely used in PvP when I picked it up 3 months ago. I dont change my build for duels, group play, or solo play.
But now that I use DW and Fasallas and kill some meta elitist players its SUPER OP? Wearing this gives up my regen..if you watch my videos, I am weaving in full heavy attacks constantly to compensate. Any one that is complaining is just salty and I understand, losing sucks

Yeah let's get rid of the only damaging stamina base move that a stam sorc has that makes it unique. Every other class gets to keep their stam damage move. One of the reasons I even use hurricane in pve is because it is a aoe dot that replace my use of steel tornado. Now players want to get rid of the damage from it. It doesn't not even do that much damage especialy not in pvp. Why do players always got to push their sense of balance like it the right thing to do. All they are doing is just tiping the scales to their favor. Not really creating balance but just making it unbance in another direction.

At first I thought it was gonna be another nerf stamsorc thread but it turned out to be a legitimate thread discussing how to counter them, unlike every other one. Thank you!
