Except their job hours are different. You going to pay for their overtime to compensate?
Regardless, you can't make someone work if their time outside of work is spent being in it. Once you liquidate that line between private/work life, you increase employee burnout.
It's easier to play outside during maintenance than to make ZoS put strain on their workers for no reason.

What happened with the 5am ET time maintaince? 2am ET is a horrible time thats when i love to play .
Im guessing workers got tired of doing maintaince at so late so now we gotta suffer for THEYRE problem
Im not mad. Just disappointed. The 5AM ET maintaince was perfect for mehope they go back to it lately its been 2am ET .

I know you can't please everyone all the time, but to actually WHINE about it...
I think Zeni should do maintenance from 4 p.m. to midnight CDT on Thursdays. I work a swing shift, so it wouldn't interrupt my gaming hours, but it'd give the "day walkers" a taste of the medicine that us late-nighters and over-nighters have to deal with on occasion.

Not at all. Simply change hours. As someone else stated earlier, if it were me I'd rather start at 5am than be up till 2am to start a server reboot!

Regardless, it's only maintenance and it's fool hardy to put ZoS on a bed of spikes because the game is off for a few hours.

It's an entire evening gone for us in Oceanic timezones. There's bigger things in the world to worry about for sure, but this is a gaming forum and a thread about maintenance, and I'll have a moan accordingly

Oh ya its cuz they didnt mess it up to begin with.
Eso has been fixing they're game since launch lol smh. Its a amazing game with a amazing concept with millions of things to do.
If this game was polished and ran perfect it might be the best game out. But these things hold u back BIG TIME.
imagine a casual gamer buys eso and doesnt know he will have 24 hrs of offline service a week .
Hes gona think the developers and coders are incompetent.
Meanwhile we have people who have been playing since launch STILLL sticking up for all the problems.
Remember when u use to get booted to home screen all the time?
Im sure u do becuase it still happens till this day

For their sake, I hope what I bolded is a lie. EVERY game HAS to do routine maintenance to ensure their game stays healthy. NO game is exempt, and any company that does not do maintenance and/or claims not to is either a liar or negligent.
