Alliance Rider Outfit

If they're going to be crown store purchases, you might as well go ahead and make them dyeable. If the intent is for them to function as alliance uniforms, they should be obtainable in-game somehow. Many people, if they're going to spend real money on them, are going to expect to be able to dye them, so if you don't do it now, you'll likely just end up doing it later, after seeing thread after thread of people asking for it. Plus, the hoods go great with some of the other costumes and it'd be a shame not to be able to match them.

As for me, personally, I do see the appeal of an alliance uniform, but I think in the end, I'd end up not spending the money if I couldn't dye it. If I could get it in-game through PvP or something, I wouldn't care as much, and would see it more as a team uniform.

It is logical, but yes it also decreases my interest.

Agree. I really like the look of costume and hood, but as my characters are rather neutral, it feels bit funny to wear alliance stuff.

    My feedback:
Sorry, I won't buy the alliance outfit or horse ... but I would *ABSOLUTELY* buy these if they had my guild logo, in place of the faction symbol, and my guild tabard colors, in place of the faction colors.
(generated from the currently worn guild tabard, of course)

Yes ... I would, indeed, buy these ... and now that I've mentioned it ... I want them immediately. :D

Can you make that happen? B)

The costume is fine, not really my style but I understood why they wouldn't be dyable.

I did have one question though, did anyone else notice the EP version of the hound lays down a lot more than the other two? I swear it seemed that he was always sitting and laying down as soon as he could, lazy beast;p

Yes, it does decrease my interest in them. I really don't see the reasoning behind not letting us dye it. My guess that it's not dyeable is because it is immersion breaking? Honestly it really shouldn't matter what color the costume and hat are, the alliance emblem is there no matter how you dye it, and that should be enough reasoning to let us dye it, just like the eso+ subscription promises us to be able to do

yep what's the point in apparel if you can't turn it pink in the wash or even worse tiedye lol no fun
Try Cat herding it's fun thay said you'll love it it's a good honest job........ bollock's you need Silverweave body armour to stop em fighting, but a stuffed mouse on a string can help!

I had a visual bug, when I wore hooded costume and then put on alliance riding hood. My character was wearing both hoods, riding hood partly showing underneath the other and without texture (or only white).

No it does not, it make's sence for this costume.
What I don;t like that hood and outfit are not one thing.

Altough the outfits are cool in idea, I find the look (seen the pact ones) not to amazing.
Somehow it reminds me of the harry potter outfits they used while playing Quidditch.

Also to pitch in, I would like the mounts not to be a mount but more of an upgrade of the mount were you can put the tabbart on. Like on the guar, senche, kagoti etc. I don't use horses for my char's, as I prefer other animals for them... so the horse would be a cyro buy and not sure I would go for that. (if it remained just the horse)

It actually looks to me like it's intended to be brigandine. Or possibly just inspired by brigandine.

    Don't make them dyeable.

But make them PvP rewards. Well, ok, you can sell the pets in the store. Maybe the hats and costume too. But at the very least make the mount a PvP reward. Either purchasable from the Cyrodiil stablemaster using AP, or automatically rewarded upon reaching a certain alliance rank.

(Ideally, all of them should be PvP rewards, but making the mount an in-game reward is a reasonable compromise, I think.)

Personally I'd go with dyeable but faction colors (Yellows, Reds & Blues Accordingly.) and greys for the fabric material and faction colors, greys and golds for the metallic parts, and add the mount* and pet armor** to the costume dyeing listings, so that the set can be matched as required, the empty defaults could remain as they are now.

*This added mount coloration option could then be used on other mounts base saddles and their stamina speed and carry capacity upgrade colors

Doom wolf mount for example has a brown leather armor upgrade, would be nice to dye this black, gold or silver for example for the selected character just like the dyeable costumes.

** Pet armor would only show as an option and be useable for those pets with added armor/clothing.

Also can you allow weapon dyeing, you say we can't due to silly pink swords... have you looked at the color of the EP Faction Motif preview metal, the CP 150+ metal shows as PINK (Swords and wooden shield), being able to dye these say blood red, metallic silver or black would be helpful, especially as we can try to dye the awful PINK shield.

Unfortunately I think that ship sailed when the game went b2p. Just like the Bear mount was originally intended as a reward for completing a quest in Wrothgar. It would be nice to get them as pvp rewards though. I honestly don't think they should be dyeable since they are intended as a faction uniform but its not a deal breaker for me.
