    Instead of nerfing RD, maybe you should nerf the number of players who stand 5 wide in a ball who allow me to RD the one in the middle instead of, you know, showing the slightest amount of aggression against their attacker.

    I hate to say it but there are some truly awful players around this game who can't grasp that they stink. Sorry, had to be said.

    The fact that this person listed half the attacks in the game pretty much shows it. Hurricane? Really? You're having trouble with Hurricane? Dude, pop an invis potion. For that matter level up your alchemy and don't set foot back into Cyrodiil until you can craft some immovability potions too. So much of your complaints can be fixed just by farming Namira's Rot and Columbine.

    It's not that bad. Keep in mind it scales with health, not weapon/spell damage, so it could be a lot worse.

    Nobody has ever died from just radiant destruction. Usually people calling for nerfs start off by saying saying that the were fighting 4 opponenets and they eventually died and radiant had a big number on their kill screen.

    Whats wrong with sweeps to counter dodge roll? Goes through dodge roll and 70% snare and would do more dmg? People just like their easy mode skillless skills.

    Just a question, if you wern't a Stamina class which you are since I've seen you in IC, and you were playing a magplar, would you want RD nerfed?

    Its not op in anyway(Its a 50% execute but the high damage only comes in below 30% , if someone starts beaming you at 50% hp there's a 100% chance you won't die, unless you're *** (excuse the language)), when you do 1v1 duels who uses radiant at the start to do damage? The main issue is stamina classes can recover too quickly from 10% hp to 100% with a few vigor/dodge roll ticks and radiant is here to counter that. Btw I play all roles so don't say I'm templar defending templars. Where's the nerf velidreth/viper NB combo?

    I play them all, i was on my mag nb yesterday, my mag templar the day before, so yes as a person who has played and plays every class both stam and magicka, jesus beam needs a nerf.

    Executing at 50% is just stupid, since when was 50% an execute? It takes 3 ticks to kill someone from 50% , the first is instant.

    Also please tell me how i'm mean't to stop someone beaming me 30-40m away? When i have someone else on me?

    If your getting killed with 50% hp from 1 user beaming you with radiant then you're probably wearing light armor, no way on earth does anyway die at 50% hp from radiant, Everytime I'm hit with radiant at 50% it doesn't scratch me literally dunno what your build is(and I'm not a tank).

    And yes exactly you want to 1vx , if you haven't noticed after the removal of veteran ranks it got slightly harder to 1vx and yes if you are going 1v3 and one of them is spamming radiant on you, you should die , 3 people should be able to kill one, even 2. 1vx is only possible against weaker players and using line of sight.

    This is the exact problem with this game and this forum, people assuming in a 1v3 the 1 should lose all the time, what happens if the 1 is just better? Has a better build, better skill, better understanding? The 1 should win.

    But not anymore zos has made it to the point where the bigger group who already have an advantage by just being a bigger group have more advantages such as aoe caps, poisons, skills such a jesus beam and snipe etc...

    Instead of the 3 getting killed and then going to try and become better players and improve instead they just use the cheese things such as beam and poisons because it's just easier, why learn to play the game better when there are options that just ignore skill and make it so these bad players don't need to get better.

    The things people try to defend these things with is just toxic, it's partly the reason why this game is going even further downhill.

    This is why i can find max level players cp 531 who are just terrible, like the things they do in pvp i would expect from a person whose under 50 and has no cp. They've played the game for so long, some of them are even a high pvp rank but they literally have no pvp skill at all because all they've done is relied on zergs and things like aoe caps, poisons, skills like beam etc... to basically do the pvp for them.

    So you play a game where the idea is to kill stuff and you want to make it better by making it
    1.Hurricane. Why? No way to counter it, you can't dodge out or knockback because the radius increases. You cannot stealth because of the large radius.

    2.Biting Jabs/Puncturing Sweep. Why? The constant spam of it, and isn't it supposed to knockback? It does not so you cannot stealth out. And when they spam jabs you'll be dead, and when they spam sweep you cannot kill them because of the heal.

    3.Aspect of terror. Why? It cannot be broken, even after repeated "fixes". Reduce the fear to 2 seconds.

    4.Talons. Why? It can be spammed. Over and over and over again.

    5.Reverse slice. Why? I get that it's two handed, but it's simply way too powerful. If you're at less than 50% health, you're looking at an 8k damage spam.

    6.Snipe. Why? No ability should do that much damage from that far of a range, even if it does take 1 second to cast and is dodgeable. If spammed against a magicka player, they're dead when out of stamina with no way to counter it.

    7.Anything that stuns for more than 3 seconds. Why? If you don't run a stamina build it's an instant death sentence. And even if you do, all CC is so buggy and laggy you probably won't be able to break it..

    8.Horse knockoff stun. Why? This is also a death sentence. You should be able to break it, otherwise reduce the stun to 1.5 - 2 seconds. It should also provide CC immunity WHILE you're stunned.

    9.Uppercut. Why? Also too much damage. If you get knocked off a horse, you're looking at 2 direct hits from it, in addition to the knockback. All they have to do now is use reverse slice (see #5).

    10. Flare. Why? It has the exact same problem as #6. If you run a magicka build, you're dead when you run out of stamina.

    11. Radiant Destruction, the infamous Jesus Beam. Why? You know why.


    It should be noted that this should ONLY affect PvP.

    you basically want to get rid of templars and stam builds. Thats not likely to happen since PVP is stam based and templars are the only way to counter shuffle stackers/infinite dodge chance bunnies.

    Magicka is so weak now that even sheild stacking sorcs are a joke. A good magic posion and shieldbreaker wrecks them.

    Why not buff all magic builds to balance the game instead of screaming for nerfs?

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Can we just nerf everything then ? anything that can kill us and just give out to everybody a participation ribbons in PVP ?

    Maybe ur not good at the game because you just listed lik 20 moves lol.

    I wouldnt even agree with RD. Simply because you're complaining about it starting at 50%. If they have 50% and u use RD it wont do much damage compared to under 35% .

    If ur gona nerf RD which i wouldnt be mad about i would say reduce the damage A littttttle bit :smile:

    As for your stamina resource complaint I went through that before then realized sticking with tri food and and having stam pots is the key for me to sustain my stam. Or tri potions of course.

    It makes magicka characters more competitive forsure especially if you add a poison on one of ur weapons that increases stam cost.

    What do i mean ? .... nerfing is a viscous circle ...

    Instead of nerfing this or nerfing that .. IF something seams to be OP and then we should call for re-balance, re balance of that skill or re-balance of other skills to come to equal.

    one example of nerfing was done on sorc shields .. ( please don't go into it its been a very very long road ) now instead of getting shields to be balanced to be crit in pvp sorcs shields were nerferd which affected pve , most mag sorcs have changed to stam sorc or changed to temp or nb ect and those that stayed are those who are really good with them .. im not one of them so i changed to stam sorc and still theory crafting my magsorc so one day i can return.


    nerfing threads don't help anybody they divide the community get people angry ( unfortunately we as humans when we get our fantasy character attacked to nerf things we fell like its personal attack on us and we lash out) So instead of nerf threads come up with balancing thread what needs to be scaled up like magic Dks are in the bad place at the moment mage sorc need to be looked into ect

    But sad thing is .. even this is logical and makes sense it will be ignored and people will be shouting NERF NERF NERF ... aaaaa humanity just for once i wish you would prove me wrong....

    Sweeps is good to use, but the person you are quoting is correct that people do not die to a single radiant oppression, well, maybe if they come in their PvE gear. I have never even come close to death from someone spaming RO alone. Only been killed by it when I was low health so nothing is wrong with the skill. -

    Gearing properly for PvE goes a long way to surviving. Heck, I laugh when I hardly take damage from a player knowing they are geared for PvE. The second part of surviving is figuring out how to counter skills, how to deal with various classes and ESO is no different that how it is in other games.

    I agree with this. This completely counters a core nightblade ability way to hard. It's not like there was enough counters to cloak in the first place. Imo this ability should have not gotten that big AoE radius. Just rework boundless storm to physical damage then change the animation to fancy wind effects, adding in that gigantic AoE was not necessary. Probably hurts the games performance. Doesn't bother me open world but Dueling a Stamsorc is lame on a nightblade, might as well slot Fasalla's Guile and force them to stay away from you.

    #2 + #4 through #10 are LP2 issue's. #3: Fear should be easier to break but that's a latency issue i believe. #10: well all executes in my opinion should be 25% or less period.

    I would go on about how Negate's rework should remove the HoT/DoT component or be break-able.... or Magicka Det/Vicious Death should be removed or how all immobilizes in game need an immunity similar to cc immunity, then AoE caps removed to make this games group play a little more satisfying but ZOS has made there choice. We gotta deal with it. So i'll give you some advice, deal with it until the game slowly gets better... but in my opinion were far from better and drifting to worse.

    Since your a nightblade i'll give you a suggestion, stay away from large scale warfare if your stamina, its not really are thing. If your magicka, well go suicide and blow up tons of people. Other then that, each class/spec has a role to fulfill, it just depends what role you want to play.

    I have learn't to stop caring about these issues because all i see is a rollercoaster with a never ending loop.. :|

    So hurricane should be nerfed just because it affects a night blades core mechanic? In hiding? I think it's pretty awesome it does lol.

    On a serious note, I think these reasons were pretty petty, seems like anything that affected/killed the op should be nerfed.

    Another thing though I don't understand why zos are so behind on this game in terms of, chat box(although welcomed, needs an upgrade), duelling, seperation of abilities from pve-pvp, some of the things that are needed/coming/just implemented should of been in the game from day 1.

    Its not op in anyway(Its a 50% execute but the high damage only comes in below 30% , if someone starts beaming you at 50% hp there's a 100% chance you won't die, unless you're *** (excuse the language)), when you do 1v1 duels who uses radiant at the start to do damage? The main issue is stamina classes can recover too quickly from 10% hp to 100% with a few vigor/dodge roll ticks and radiant is here to counter that. Btw I play all roles so don't say I'm templar defending templars. Where's the nerf velidreth/viper NB combo?

    I play them all, i was on my mag nb yesterday, my mag templar the day before, so yes as a person who has played and plays every class both stam and magicka, jesus beam needs a nerf.

    Executing at 50% is just stupid, since when was 50% an execute? It takes 3 ticks to kill someone from 50% , the first is instant.

    Also please tell me how i'm mean't to stop someone beaming me 30-40m away? When i have someone else on me?

    If your getting killed with 50% hp from 1 user beaming you with radiant then you're probably wearing light armor, no way on earth does anyway die at 50% hp from radiant, Everytime I'm hit with radiant at 50% it doesn't scratch me literally dunno what your build is(and I'm not a tank).

    And yes exactly you want to 1vx , if you haven't noticed after the removal of veteran ranks it got slightly harder to 1vx and yes if you are going 1v3 and one of them is spamming radiant on you, you should die , 3 people should be able to kill one, even 2. 1vx is only possible against weaker players and using line of sight.

    This is the exact problem with this game and this forum, people assuming in a 1v3 the 1 should lose all the time, what happens if the 1 is just better? Has a better build, better skill, better understanding? The 1 should win.

    But not anymore zos has made it to the point where the bigger group who already have an advantage by just being a bigger group have more advantages such as aoe caps, poisons, skills such a jesus beam and snipe etc...

    Instead of the 3 getting killed and then going to try and become better players and improve instead they just use the cheese things such as beam and poisons because it's just easier, why learn to play the game better when there are options that just ignore skill and make it so these bad players don't need to get better.

    The things people try to defend these things with is just toxic, it's partly the reason why this game is going even further downhill.

    This is why i can find max level players cp 531 who are just terrible, like the things they do in pvp i would expect from a person whose under 50 and has no cp. They've played the game for so long, some of them are even a high pvp rank but they literally have no pvp skill at all because all they've done is relied on zergs and things like aoe caps, poisons, skills like beam etc... to basically do the pvp for them.

    Well yeah thats sort of the sad fact now they made the larger numbers have much bigger advantages , game takes less and less skill each patch. But there's nothing we can do but adapt, For example; I used to use a medium stamina DK(Flawless Conqueror) 2h/Bow build and now I get 1 shotted by nearly every nightblade and lose to most users why? Simply because the meta has changed and most users are using 1h/shield with bow with heavy armor and these fagg velidreth/viper combos its just sickening and they actually think their good. I'm not gonna follow the meta ( and start using 1h/shield just to win a stupid duel and feel good its just too boring) and change my build just to be effective so I started playing another class altogether.

    Just stop nerfing things and everything will be fine, radiant didn't do *** to me before DB. Since they made the sharpened trait do flat penetration bonus of 5k, so users are hitting way harder all together thats why people are all using heavy armor (black rose to be precise).

    It should be noted that this should ONLY affect PvP.

    I'm glad you included this. I don't think any further nerfs should be implemented by ZOS unless they isolate the changes to PvE or PvP. This has already been done for at least one skill...the Nightblade's Ambush. In PvE it stuns monsters, but in PvP it just briefly immobilizes players.

    Speaking as someone who mostly enjoys PvP as their end-game playground, I don't think it's right for one style of player to get classes/abilities nerfed which can greatly impact another style of player. This applies to both PvE and PvP players. Due to the competitive nature of PvP, too often we PvP'rs are the ones calling for nerfs without considering how it might limit our PvE siblings.

    With that said, I'm not overly passionate about nerfing any of the items on your list. Would prefer that ZOS continue to make efforts to prevent cheating, like the use of Cheat Engine and this addon data mining exploit I've been hearing about lately.

    EDIT: One more thing...rather than nerfs, continue reducing lag. I've seen a huge improvement in lag compared to when I took a break from ESO right after the TG DLC dropped (slide show battles were all too common back then). So I hope ZOS keeps up the good work and continues their efforts to reduce lag.

    The things that seriously needs to be nerfed or nuked. Vigor, rally, shuffle, Nightblades in general. Dodge Rolling, Break Free, and Blocking needs to be taken off of the stamina bar. And be placed on a separate bar. At that point then we can see if Magicka still needs to be buffed.

    Combating Power Creep with more Power Creep has never worked in the past with MMOs. Nor does it work in the present with MMOs. So I really don't see it working in the future. Just nerf them back into order. Then buff magicka if even needed at that point.

    Nothing needs a nerf. Magicka nightblades and dragonknights need a buff to bring them in line with their stamina counterparts.

    Not a rider of the nerf train but Hurricane needs a counter your can't Magnum Shot yourself out of it and it's range is all of Melee. Every power in this game has a reasonable number of counter (unless you play a Nightblade then everything even potions can counter you Immovable or Det potion.)

    Jesus Beam's damage is fine it's an execute and not the only to tick up at that health range. But it's attacking range is crazy it's at max range only snipe has a longer reach no one should be able to use a execute that strong as 36m.
