On a serious note they already are removing those traits from drops in dungeons.
No, they are being removed from trials. They remain in dungeons.

And, yes, I've gotten a training piece on the PTS. I'm sure ZOS knows that these are undesirable traits; they exist solely to dilute the chance of getting what you want. It's the price they exact for a 100% drop rate, I suppose.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Hi everyone,
We have an update for you. We will be making the following changes to Trait attainability with the launch of Update 12:
- Prosperous and Training will be removed as a valid Trait for all items that drop in Trials
- Valid Traits for Trials and Leaderboard rewards are as follows:
- Weapons – Infused, Powered, Precise, Defending, Sharpened, Charged, Decisive
- Armor – Infused, Divines, Well-Fitted, Reinforced, Sturdy
- Items drops in the overland and in dungeons will have a chance of dropping with all available Traits, including Impenetrable

Apparently they don't think Veteran Dungeons are proper endgame then, especially considering THE ENTIRE GAME IS ENDGAME with One Tamriel.

It depends on how you define "endgame", but I don't think it is equivalent to "max level". In any case, ZOS never used that terminology, and there's no denying the trials are on a difficulty level all of their own. Normal trials are harder than every normal dungeon, and Veteran trials are much harder than even the hardest DLC Veteran dungeon. Even nMoL is more challenging for PUGs than most Veteran dungeons.
That said, I would very much like to see them tweak the drop tables somewhat and remove Training/Prosperous from the vet-mode loot table; I don't care if they leave it in the normal-mode loot table. Or at the very least cull the trait tables for headpieces that drop from Hard Mode kills.

Which means... what? Endgame literally means the end of the game. So what's the end?
When you can no longer progress by gaining levels? Very few would consider hitting Level 50 CR10 to be endgame. When you can no longer progress by gaining gear levels? Again, very few would consider hitting CR160 to as reaching endgame. When you hit the CP cap? When you run out of things to do in the storylines (defeated Bal, finished Gold, etc.) and are left with only repeatable content like dungeons, trials, and PvP?
In any case, all of this is an irrelevant segue. I don't care what you do and don't label as endgame because ZOS never claimed to use that label as the criteria for their drops. They are simply rewarding better loot tables to harder content, and the question is whether that's a fair reward system.
