A good place to farm Rubedo hide scraps without DLC?

I gave up looking for a spot to farm rubedo scraps.. I don't have DLC other than IC, anyone has any idea how to farm them?

I am not sure if you know this, but you can break down armor you get in IC to get mats. Also you can purchase the mats from one of the IC merchants using your Tel Var stones. I recently bought over 1200 mats for cp160 gear, all using stones I got in IC.

There shouldn't be...all clothing materials have the same chance to get a wax when refining. It may be easier to find a silver/gold zone that is empty and farm materials there.Reorx Holybeard -- NA/PC

They nerfed the FG mudcrabs a long, long time ago. They yield no scraps, no loot, and no XP.Non-vet Fungal isn't bad either if you kill all the mudcrab groups.
