Anyway get back on topic and stop crying, gina said there will be nothing today everyone can leave now.
And the real Leepalmer shows his face. Calling someone a fotm magplar. A forum warrior. A full hp beamer / healbot. And to stop crying.
Why must you make these things petty and personal?

Usually, PTS doesn't come until a month before release. On that timetable, we shouldn't even have PTS or patch notes until October. Even if the timetable slips to next week, it will still be very early.

Unfortunately we ran into an issue with the build for PTS, and maintenance will need to be extended until we can get things remedied. We'll give you an update as soon as we can tomorrow.
@ZOS_GinaBruno You could just be honest and tell us that you're keeping the server offline until you can announce and demonstrate the big changes at PAX since having it live before then could allow major announcements to be leaked early. Sure you stated you'd be updating yesterday before someone realised the problem, but we prefer honesty even if comes from genuine mistakes otherwise it makes your PR team look like they have the mentality of a 5 year old.

I think they are referring to the fact that the PTS was originally scheduled for Monday @Enodoc..
I don't remember ZOS ever saying that; the most they said before Wednesday was "this week" and "the beginning of September", both of which are correct.Paulington wrote: »I think they are referring to the fact that the PTS was originally scheduled for Monday Enodoc. You might need to check your calendarContraptions wrote: »Yeah, I really think they're trying to hype up One Tamriel at PAX before releasing the PTS patch for us and the public. More like a couple days. They said October 31. I was rounding.I'd like to note that they said at Gamescom One Tamriel is coming in October. Your time table is off by a month.
@Enodoc The official article did say that it would be 'early' this week... given that wednesday is the middle of the week I can understand people saying monday/tues.
I'm sure I've seen somewhere else official that said Monday too...

But hey *** ... at least its just PTS.... it's not like the Live server is down..... & I think we'd all agree that if there is a bug big enough to cause a delay that we'd rather they fixed it then stick it out there straight away.

The PR 'team' is one person, I think. One person more than last year, yes. I doubt that they are holding back PTS for marketing. It is more likely due to a major bug. With ZOS, it is always best to assume bug first.

Your opening words were ' i think 85% of people on this forum don't like you, how is that not 'personal'.
