Went to IC maybe twice when it first came out and just did not find it fun. Went back again for the IC event and found it miserable. Waited in queue for an hour. Got in, got killed, experienced a bug where I could not rezz, had to reboot to get out. Back in queue of 122! In the midst of that lost the few stones I had. I don't 1v1 and getting tanked is not my idea of a good time. Not fun. Probably won't go back.
It does nothing for the average PvE player (whom I might add are the lifeblood and money behind this game's continued funding).
Great concept - but the capture the flag nonsense (which was applied on the whims of a single post on these forums) along with this latest pandering has done it for me. I won't be returning to the Imperial City anymore - and if I let my ESO+ lapse, I won't be purchasing this DLC - which was once a MUST HAVE but now is a MUST NEVER PLAY!

We pay for this content - but can't use it. I'd love to go run the quests casually with my wife (we both have ESO+) but after a long horse ride from a random keep (since the other keeps are taken... don't get me even started on the fact you can pay for this content and have d-bags camping the entrances to stop you using what you paid for etc...) only to be ganked within seconds of trying to quest.
Its moronic. The devs need a rethink of this one...
1) You need to have a direct wayshrine into the sewer base.
2) There needs to be a strictly PVE only version of it.

Yeah it's really that bad.
It's never been great - but this, you're right, has made it worse. Just like the capture the flag bs that was introduced did. At least before that all the PVPers would hang out in the Arena district - now the d-baggery has been dissipated throughout the entire city.

Dude... It's very, very, very, bad currently. At least on PS4-NA. It wasn't even this bad when IC launched.
Well, you can double both the AP and TV gains by just waiting in stealth near the entrance to the opposing base and hitting the returners. When full jump campaign, bank, rinse and repeat

Some of us like to be honorable even with anonymity.
ZOS is promoting poor sportsmanship by rewarding people who ignore rules of engagement. I'm always ready to self-defense, but why the *** am I having to defend myself for *** waving at an enemy player? Sometimes I don't even bother defending. Killing an unarmed player? Nobody's impressed.

Personally, outside of the whole PVP vs PVE argument, which this kind of thread was always going to end up in, I do tend to agree with the challenge of individual solo players who have subscribed/bought the IC DLC having issues in getting to the Sewers.
One possible way - and obviously this would very much depend on the difficulty/cost/time involved in setting it up, but a portal in your main Cyrodiil city that would allow players at say less than Rank 3 in Alliance war the chance to port in to the Sewers base.
At least this would allow them access and anyone who is over/above/at level 3 should have a fair understanding of what to do to get to the Sewers over land without the portal *shrugs*
In general, I like IC and I don't have any complaints about it. I also like the addition of the flags.
The festival though.. the issue that I have noticed is if players from an alliance are camping molag to try to get the skin, which they are, then players from a different alliance will have to either go to a different campaign or bring a crowd and have a big ole brawl.
Of course I know that this is the nature of IC and I don't have a problem with that. The thought of having a big PvP fight in order to PvE just makes me chuckle.
I sympathize with those who do not like it. At the same time, IC is designed this way and will only appeal to those who like to PvP in a PvE area. I appreciate having a place like IC.
How is controlling a contested resource where you can farm a desire able and purely cosmetic (therefore neither pve or pvp) item or two an issue?
