Random drop boxes in SWTOR were terrible, even worse in EQ2, I spend a lot of cash in the store but wouldn't touch anything where I don't know what I am getting for my money.

So a big fat Zero with heavy armour on from me

I'm not sure if you are aware of it yet, they are cosmetic only you know? They don't affect the gameplay at all! Like none. It would be a predatory model if they add p2w itens, which is not the case.

Yup, game is in pretty steady decline. Shame, as it be one of those games that will forever be remembered as a game with soooo much potential but the devs and greedy C-Suite team botched it up. Almost everyone I know that I enjoyed playing with has left the game. And like most, I find myself only marginally enjoying it and probably will not hesitate to jump ship when something better comes out.

I have 32k crowns and nothing to buy until then. I should be at 35k by then from my sub crowns, so...87 lol. If for no other reason than to get some easy subs on YT by making a day 1 vid. Plus I could get an Ice Wolf or Striped Senche, so that's cool too lol.

I'm in the same situation. I have 15K crowns and it will keep growing with my subscription. There are a couple of mounts I really want so I'm willing to spend a good amount of them trying to get it.

But it really does depend on the drop rate. If mounts have a 5% drop rate then I probably wont bother with it. Give me a nice 10% and I'm all in

Of course, this one doesn't show unanimous opposition to the idea. This one actually makes it look like people will spend money on this crap. Of course this one gets to stay open.

Biased poll then. Even if you have a specific reason for such a topic, it should be taken into account who would read it. As this is the official forum for the devs of the game, chances are if they visit any forum for the game, it would be this one.

If you got 100k votes, and 95% say they'll buy 21+ boxes. They will know to base the odds on getting the desired item with odds based around 20 boxes to even have a 50% chance combined. If all votes were to say "0, i don't support gambling" then they might think "this would be a bad idea to even start with, let's just stick to selling the item directly rather than open a grocery store and selling people a chance to buy milk and eggs"

Right now, if a poll designed like this were to get a vote from each and every person to ever play the game, it could be interpreted as "100% support from the entire community to rip them off" because there's no option covering the other spectrum.

Fact is, there is a real possibility you'll end up with only potions and food, even with 87 boxes.
