Different items effect (affect?) people's enjoyment of a game differently. Personally for me, I would actually hate this idea less if it was VMSA weapons in those lockboxes (no, don't take that out of context, I don't think it's a good idea to ever put weapons etc. in the crown store, just making a point here), as that wouldn't matter at all to me. I don't play competitively, the rare times I PvP it really doesn't matter - that person will kill me with or without a fancy weapon (lol). I thing I DO love about the game is being able to change my outfit to fit the mood, change my mount to match the scenery and mission etc. So for me, I care much more about cosmetic items being locked away behind a lottery box. I'm totally against the p2w model too and I would promptly drop from the game if they ever add p2w thing to those lockboxes. But in the meanwhile they aren't, so there is no reason to hate that much on those boxes: Its just cosmetic, its not mandatory, don't affect the gameplay.

Only exception would be if it had a guaranteed chance to drop a mount I didn't have, and I liked the majority of the possiblities.Why be normal when you can be better?
