How to reset vMSA

Working on Flawless, just curious how to go about resetting the arena. I tried leaving, then abandoning the quest, and relogging to no avail.

Leave, cancel quest and wait around 15min and then go in again. Then everything should be resettet

Leave the whole arena. Not just the portal zone.

Yeah the 15 minutes waiting time can be really annoying. There should just be a way to instantly reset it, like all other group instances.

I´ve done like this: Go out, abandon quest, set dungeon difficulty at normal, go back in, go out, set it to vet and go back again. I think this should work.

Actually you need to wait outside the dungeon only 5 minutes, and abandon the quest of course.

All instances in this game--dungeons, trials, arenas, heists, sacraments, etc.--reset 5 minutes after the last person leaves.

I found logging onto another character usually does the trick without the wait.

The most time efficient and fastest way that I've found to reset Maelstrom Arena is to: Leave the instance to any location other than Maelstrom Arena. Change the difficulty from veteran to normal, and then back to veteran (or vice-versa if doing it on normal difficulty). Abandon the quest in your quest log regarding the Maelstrom Arena. And then proceed with re-entering the Maelstrom Arena. You should be back at the beginning, and able to receive the request once more. I hope for the best, and hope you receive what you seek. ^_^
