✭✭✭✭✭I thought wow 92 hairstyles for 1k crowns, then I read the 'STANDARD' and had a think. Standard means already existing, so I passed. Pays to read carefully as companies usually put in vague text to 'trick' customers, whether intentional or not, it happens.
To me that hairpack is not bad, I like the opportunity to be able to change my hairstyle to one of those I really like from the standard set (male, female and especially beast race options). So to me these are not wasted 1000 crowns, I appreciate that we got this standard set as a collection. I was especially not happy with the choice I made for my Argonian and now I can change it to whatever of the standard styles I like for him - this makes a quite happy Argonian now and I can use as well those costumes on him, which I avoided, because they had no hood or helmet and the original hairstyle choice would be visible.
I just wish we would get as well such a standard option pack at the same price for adornments and body markings - please ZOS make it happen - @ZOS_GinaBruno - maybe you guys had this planned already, at least I hope so.
Edit: Ah, and I forgot head markings - so this would be another 3000 crowns for you for these 3 standard packs from me, ZOS. And while you are at it, consider a hair color set as well - this would be awesome, I would happily pay 1000 for that pack as well, if I can change hair color from collections anytime I wish with no extra costs other than that hair color pack. So we are at 4000 crowns in total now. And to make @Abeille happy, give all colors to everyone, she wants so badly a black hair color for her Altmer character. I would like to see her happy.

Great idea with the color pack too. Like how we can wear any human/elf hair of the hair pack with any human or elf, even if it wasn't originally available for that race in particular in the character creator.
I would certainly buy all of these packs you suggested too. If they make separated categories and therefore packs for paintings and scars so that we can wear both at the same time, I would buy both too.
Speaking of categories, I hope that they fix the eyelash bug and make it so that that I can put them on my characters and still wear other accessories. Right now on PTS, I must choose between wearing antlers or eyelashes on my Bosmer, which is kinda awful.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

The color pack came to mind, when I was changing hair on a dark-red colored hair of a character. This color looks with some hairstyles more violet than dark red and on others it looks lighter than I want it to be - so the option to change color when I change hair would have to be as flexible as the hairstyles from collection - so basically a color collection set as well, to be practical. I cannot imagine to use tokens for that, this would just not be reasonable, as often as I want to change hairstyles.
Tokens would not do the job anyway - I would just see it in the lighting of the character change environment, which is different from the lighting in the game in sun light - I have to see if the color will be washed out in midday and maybe too dark in the evening - I have to be able to flexibly test this and change it over and over again until I will finally be satisfied - and if I am not, I will not play that character very often, I am quite sensitive to the looks.Edited by Lysette on August 2, 2016 2:50PM0 -

People were led to believe the new styles would be released this patch and the item in the store does not allow you to preview the styles you will be getting. I think the description in the Crown store should be changed to state that the pack includes only the standard hair styles.1 -

Hm, it could be more clear, that is true - "existing" is such a thing - the new hairstyles do actually not exist on the live server yet, but they exist on the PTS. And this can be misleading for those, who have tried them on the PTS.1 -

Anyways, what was there was the Masked Bear mount, that Shaman outfit that was on PTS, that spiky turtle pet and the style parlor stuff and service tokens that were already added yesterday.
They are removing the Ashlander costumes, the Ordinator costumes, the Dragon Priest and Dragon Warrior costumes and the Woodland Scouts costumes, plus the Fennec Fox pet and another pet that I don't remember right now. They will be added. Trouble is, they will probably cost the same - 1000k. So, the real problem is, whoever spent 1k on the regular and expected to see new content, will have to spend additional 1k. Am I right @ZOS_GinaBruno ?
Or will you be good enough to add this free of charge (at least to those who bought this on the 1st day of release)?

Ok still no point logging in then. Something that is meant to provide entertainment that ends up testing my patience is just the absolute worst feeling for a customer. I may return to WoW since you can pay the sub with ingame gold and change your hair whenever, and as an added bonus you don't have to spend 3 years without eyelashes.2 -

I feel like they are adding so little lately. I haven't been keeping track of the numbers, to be honest, but I feel that on the last few months more stuff was removed from the Crown Store than added.

It pays to READ and it also pays to put a little 'logical thinking' into that reading as well. Or, if you don't want to read ZOS' descriptions, then wait for the forum posts that come out after an update to read what other people are experiencing. This happened with the 'assistants' and is now happening with 'hairstyles'. But really people, the new hair styles were completely separate from the pack on PTS, what went through your mind to think they would be included with the 'pack' on Live?!?
People don't think, that's the problem. And today's world is full of this insane feeling of entitlement, so the second THEY misread or make a mistake, they look for anything possible (poor wording, intentional or not, for example) and demand compensation for their own impulsive nature because they feel something is owed to them. In reality, nothings owed to them.
Now, if they DO promise something and don't deliver AS WORDED - no matter how tricky the wording is - then sure, compensation would be expected. And, they've proven they can do that when there was a glitch on the experience cakes where it didn't stack with other exp boosts. They fixed it and extended the cake exp boost by two days to compensate for the mistake. This, however, is no mistake on their part, but on the consumers, and all of the whining is unwarranted.1
