Update 11 missing hairstyles (More in PTS)

The new hairstyles on PTS are just awful. It feels like they were made too fast just to earn cash.

It lacks working, it's sloppy, and there is like 0 new haircut with long hair for women (despite feedback on this since day one on PTS).

Trust me, it's better if they delay that and put new hairstyles later, so at least we can have more choice and well done work.

I would agree if I had any faith at all that they were listening to our feedback and actually working to produce the hairstyles we've been asking for instead of just throwing us the mostly bad ones that were on PTS.

We were told very clearly we'd be getting these things. Then, we didn't.

They did include these: standard character creator hairstyles we've been using for 2 years, two creepy adornments and three markings.

Technically they did release what they said. No where does it say NEW hairstyles. It's misleading for a reason. They want your money. I've spent all day warning people the hairstyles pack is NOT new hairstyles.

We were told very clearly we'd be getting these things. Then, we didn't.

Clearly you were also attempting to mislead with this because you forgot to include the following which was also in the official news thread:

    " Packs & Bundles

When Update 11 is released, we'll have some special packs and bundles that you may want to consider. If you like changing up your look from time to time, we'll be offering a pack that includes all the existing hair styles (90+ in all!). This will allow you to freely change your hair style to anything available on the character creation screen as often as you like, though normal race and/or gender restrictions do apply."

No where in their listing does it say, 'new styles will be coming when Update 11 is released', if this is how people interpreted it, then it is THEIR mistake, not ZOS. Oh but that's right, we live in an age where there is no 'personal responsibility' anymore. Perhaps ZOS could have worded it differently by saying "all original hair styles"... but if people put some thought into it they should have realized that even on PTS they had the new hair styles as singular items and would not be part of the 'pack'.

Also, one would have thought after the 'assistant' not being fully functional fiasco, that everyone would realize ZOS isn't good about 'spelling every little detail out'.

Okay people, I'm the one who bought old styles for 1k, thinking it was new. I don't regret my purchase as it's very fun to change the hairstyles on the go.
Additional ones will be available in 6 days. So 6 days from now you'll have your beards and fancy haircuts. I understand the disappointment, but really it's not the end of the world.

I thought wow 92 hairstyles for 1k crowns, then I read the 'STANDARD' and had a think. Standard means already existing, so I passed. Pays to read carefully as companies usually put in vague text to 'trick' customers, whether intentional or not, it happens.

Basic business guys, it's all about the hype. It's simple marketing 101 and every business does it. You just word your advertisement in a certain way. People are impatient. Some are trusting. Others naturally assume things(back to impatient. Read a bit and assume the rest) if even 99 out of 100 carefully read the full details(and I'm being very generous) that one out of 100 makes you profit on something you were advertising anyway. Zos DID clearly mention basic hairstyles in the package. I admit having them on pts at the same time was a stroke of genius (I'm sure many leaped to a conclusion with that bit) but they can say they promised you exactly what you purchased. It's now buyers remorse, not false advertising. (hence my Dr. Evil laughing in the boardroom comment earlier. ) and harsh as it sounds, unlike the Breton costumes, completely on the customer.

^This one gets it!! ;) It pays to READ and it also pays to put a little 'logical thinking' into that reading as well. Or, if you don't want to read ZOS' descriptions, then wait for the forum posts that come out after an update to read what other people are experiencing. This happened with the 'assistants' and is now happening with 'hairstyles'. But really people, the new hair styles were completely separate from the pack on PTS, what went through your mind to think they would be included with the 'pack' on Live?!?

I erect the spine of dissapointment! It's not only about PTS dear Zenimax, you show quite a lot new hairstyles in your "The Elder Scrolls Online: Style Paylor" begining with "coming in update 11" and ending with date "1.8.2016 PC/Mac". In such case your video advertise is nothing less than missleading.

Just one thing that might make the pack with the old hairstyles interesting for some people: Some hair styles that were not available to all races can be worn now by them. For example, the Redguard dreadlocks can be worn by, say, an Altmer.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

In the experience of this one the decent store items come just after the console release of any DLC.

This way they get them to the biggest possible playerbase at the time the content is most relevant to all platforms.

For example they probably think that offering hair in the store now when the console players cannot yet use it may not be the best deployment of the hair.

To me that hairpack is not bad, I like the opportunity to be able to change my hairstyle to one of those I really like from the standard set (male, female and especially beast race options). So to me these are not wasted 1000 crowns, I appreciate that we got this standard set as a collection. I was especially not happy with the choice I made for my Argonian and now I can change it to whatever of the standard styles I like for him - this makes a quite happy Argonian now and I can use as well those costumes on him, which I avoided, because they had no hood or helmet and the original hairstyle choice would be visible.

I just wish we would get as well such a standard option pack at the same price for adornments and body markings - please ZOS make it happen - @ZOS_GinaBruno - maybe you guys had this planned already, at least I hope so.

Edit: Ah, and I forgot head markings - so this would be another 3000 crowns for you for these 3 standard packs from me, ZOS. And while you are at it, consider a hair color set as well - this would be awesome, I would happily pay 1000 for that pack as well, if I can change hair color from collections anytime I wish with no extra costs other than that hair color pack. So we are at 4000 crowns in total now. And to make @Abeille happy, give all colors to everyone, she wants so badly a black hair color for her Altmer character. I would like to see her happy.
