Two things regarding the patch notes: First, we will have a section at the bottom calling out what's new since we published 2.5.4 on the PTS for your convenience. We also know it's frustrating to have to wait for them to be published, especially since the servers are offline for a significant amount of time today. We do this for a number of reasons though, including allowing QA to run a number of tests surrounding a patch and its fixes.
I always thought it would be interesting to get a break down of a normal patch day. Just to know what you guys go through on those days. Nothing specific like servers caught fire Ronald barely escaped with his life! But a more generic look since im sure you have to have a general routine you follow. Like an outline. I think it would be cool. But maybe im just a wierdo.

Can you have QA test a templar or dk running malubeth & fasalas, any less of those things (sets) would make eso a greater place indeed.

Onigar✭✭✭Patch Notes!
Yes I Agree Patch Notes should be released before the Maintenance is complete. After all in a small way it would give people something to do by reading them and discussing them other than complaining.
In fairness to ZOS, they have recently started to publish the patch notes during the maintenance which I and I am sure you all appreciated.
So what to do at this point, well hey umm, the PTS forum already has the patch notes for this release, it may not be exact as minor changes/fixes can be applied since then but you will be able to see all the main features planned to be included.
For ZOS, this "Natch Potes" is so a regular event, so why not just respond at an early time, or, be proactive and even create the thread! then add link(s) to the PTS notes that apply with a rider to say there may be minor deviations (or similar wording).
My 2 cents is now spent

On topic, in all fairness Stan down in the derproom in the basement at least hasn't accidentally rebooted the wrong server in quite a while. I remember back to back times when they tried turning it off and on again on the EU server accidentally when NA was scheduled for maintenance. Woopsie!

Oh in case you did not know you can view the patch notes for the new update on the pts thread.
