You just contradicted everything you've said so far. Copying your main would mean all the skill line levels, achievements, etc. associated with it. Might as well come out and admit you want everything handed to you on a silver platter so you don't have to work for anything.

There are only 4 classes............you have 8 character slots.........the 5 character you should by this time pretty much know the ends and outs of this game. that 5th character would be a convenience. At this point not pay to win.
But what does someone 'win' by having it be instant, if they 'win' something what makes it different from xp buffs? They don't have a stronger character than anyone else on the same level. They don't have some free gear or rank or whatever that someone generally 'earns'. They're just level 50. A level that can be earned in less than a day's worth of hours without paying any money (no sub, no marriage, just psijic ambrosia)

WHAT?!?!?! Are you kidding me? Again just like I can't be upset about you having the time to grind and go through the main story quest 7 times you can't possibly be upset at the people that have the funds to get a second character at 50....YOU DO know that this is a company right? That actually HAVE to pay their employees right? There is nothing unlocked if this was to happen. You would get a character at lv 50 with 50 skill points......HOWEVER YOU WOULD STILL HAVE TO LEVEL UP SKILL AND CLASSES AND CRAFTING and PVP...........
THIS is not pay to win.....THIS IS CONVENIENCE.
I do respect your opinion but being upset cause most people don't have the time like you to grind 7 characters is not fair.
Just like I can make an argument and say that its NOT FAIR that you have more time than I have to grind 7 more characters.
Convenience equals time......not pay to win.
I have a TSA pre-check membership to get to my plane and through security quickly on time and you show up at the airport and have to WAIT in a long line to go through security and hopefully get to your plane on time would that be fair? Would you be upset with the person with pre-check? No that's crazy, cause its a convenience. A CONVENIENCE of TIME.
People that sub for this game are PAYING to win. We are ALL still playing this game knowing this. Also don't be upset with ZOS if they do implement this convenience because this is a COMPANY. I want new premium content and like most given the option of convenience we will take it.
You know you sure are bent on arguing P2W with convenience. Did it ever occur to you that said convenience IS why it's P2W? You get your conveniently maxed character, you win. It's that simple.
......its NOT maxed my friend......
There is nothing unlocked if this was to happen. You would get a character at lv 50 with 50 skill points......HOWEVER YOU WOULD STILL HAVE TO LEVEL UP SKILL AND CLASSES AND CRAFTING and PVP and weapons...........
THIS is not pay to win.....THIS IS CONVENIENCE.
ONLY after you already have a lvl 50 character on your account.
at this point we are just going back and forth. I laid it out for you and its not P2W.
According to you you can only do this if you already have a Lv50. Well what if that first Lv50 happens to have 600 CPs? Well that automatically means every Lv50 you'd buy would ALSO have 600 CPs. In that case, they would indeed be truly maxed out.
You know why we are going back and forth? Because you cannot see how this would generate an unfair advantage to those that actually WORK for this stuff, regardless of how long it takes them. That, my friend, is why it is P2W. Convenience is an excuse.
Oh by the way it's 64 Skill Points at Lv50. Also it doesn't matter what does or doesn't unlock by doing this, fact of the matter is you immediately become able to equip endgame gear by buying this. P2W man.

For the record, quoting anything is pretty much meaningless without a source.
That aside, the grammatical error makes it look like it came from a poor source.
My question to everyone here is: What exactly do you define as 'win' in p2w?
Would somebody be able to instantly clear vmsa? Vdsa? Trials/vicp/vwgt with no passives in armour skills, mage/fighter guilds, weapon skills?
Would someone stroll into cyrodiil vet campaigns and be anything more than free ap?
For all those stating 'It's p2w pure and simple' etc the only plain and simple fact I see is that such a 'new born' 50 still has a ton more grind ahead. I lvl'd a new char last week to 50, still had to go get lore books, still had to gather sky shards, and even with training gear NONE of the skill lines needed are anywhere CLOSE to being maxed out.
Right now that char is my weakest by far and will remain so 'till I can be bothered to grind the skill lines.
P2W? Not even close.
What grammatical error? And the source is Urban Dictionary, leading source for all slang and internet terminology, including gaming terms.

Are you okay with ZoS selling you:
+10 CP Level up for $19.99
+100 CP Level up for $99.99 (You save 50%!)
?
ugh thats NOT what it says in the OP or what I meant!!!!!!! It says buy with crowns a lvl 50 character after you have grinded one to lvl 50. you would get a lvl 50 character WITH 50 Skillpoints.....NOTHING unlocked......you will still grind SKILLS, GUILDS, PVP, CRAFTING.....THIS IS A FREAKEN CONVENIENCE not P2W. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
?
ofcourse NO ONE would be ok with people buying CP for crowns..........Are you ok?
So you OK buying EXP to level you up to 50.
And you are NOT OK buying EXP to level your CP Level up ?
Wtf
People BUY exp scrolls to get to end game faster. I am NOT TALKING ABOUT END GAME.......you know that. Stop giving me a hard time. I'm talking about convenience.
Pretty sure getting a lvl 50 character is end game.

'Then' instead of 'than' and poor sentence construction. I'm not a grammer *** by any means but it's usually an indicator of a lack of thought for a sourced quotation. I'm also of the opinion that it's meaningless to make up an addendum and imply it has the same veracity. (Which in this case is very little, UD is a nice diversion and a lot of fun but not something to be taken as serious source IMO)
I'm pretty sure we can between us define 'win' as I raised in my previous post.
To me a p2w game would go link this; Assuming you are more skilled than me (probably the case) we meet on the field, however I have paid for an item/skill that you don't have access to and win because of this.
The ESO case here, is: my new lvl 50 sugar with barely any passives meets your fully fledged char on the field, one levelled up in the traditional way, (it would need to be a 50 too, we can't meet up in non-vet) would I have ANY advantage over you? Would I in fact be at a bigger disadvantage than if I had also levelled properly?
Please, demonstrate or define the 'win' here.

This would be P2W.
I would permanently uninstall ESO. Finished. A valuable majority of the playerbase would follow suit.
ZOS may be foolish at times, but nowhere near dumb enough to make this mistake.
Everybody, literally everybody, who plays long enough gets to level 50. This, by definition, makes its not a pay to win feature. I'm still dead against it personally but people should learn to make reasonable arguments.
Yes. And Everybody, literally everybody, can get a Maelstrom weapon. Therefore selling them in the Crown Store is not P2W?
If you pay real money to bypass a major grind or obtain OP gear (skill lines, levels, skill points, dungeon loot, monster helms) then it is P2W. Buying a Lvl 50 character is not convenience or cosmetic.
You and I BOTH know they will never sell weapons or gear that will make your character have an advantage over the other. That arguement is void.
However you CANNOT be upset at the people that CAN afford this convenience. This is how it is. Just like I CANNOT be mad at your grind. I am a casual gamer, I still do believe in this game and this company and I feel like people here would bash this concept but then secretly turn around and buy a character for.......convenience. The casual gamer is already dropping the crowns......This is a reality. For us to enjoy this game it will have to explore many options you will not agree with.....
Buying a Lvl 50 character is P2W. Plain and simple.
That is why practically everyone (besides you and those few other like-minded inviduals) chose "No" for the poll.
I'm sorry if you cannot understand this. If I can buy a Lvl 50 character, I should also be able to buy 100 Dreugh Wax and Mages Guild 10 to avoid those grinds, correct? Smh
Actually I voted No. I just disagree with the idea that buying a lvl50 is P2W
That's cool. It's sort of arguable!
Glad to see you have common sense though and realize it'd be detrimental to ESO.

I doubt this. People say they will stop playing this game or that game all the time. Almost all are just threats, and would not quit. This is no more pay to win than exp scrolls. Just the phrase pay to win implies you could beat someone solely because you paid money. This would actually hurt you more than help as you would have no skyshards lore books or anything discovered. So pay to win? I think not, more like pay to lose. Ultimately you probably spend the same amount of time buying experience scrolls.

Instead of sitting here constantly trolling people who disagree with you here's an idea. It may make no sense to you but it works. Here it goes.... Get off the forums and LEVEL UP.
