Major Evasion Should Be Removed From This Game

    Instead of removing major evasion, how bout they add this instead! :grin:

    Can't wait for the ***storm this will cause. You don't like permadodgers? How bout a full zerg of them. Bonus points to the dev team if this accidentally stacks with shuffle for the first 3 weeks of the patch.

    Another person suggesting to remove defensive mechanics becuase they can't kill someone fast enough :/
    I'd prefer it the other way round, adding spark, blinding flashes and the original cinder storm back to the game. Which btw would actually buff magicka builds since the miss chance from those skills only affected melee attacks.

    God I used to love sparks.

    I don't hate the idea of a dodge mechanic, the issue is there are few counters to the ability. IMO if I were able to counter it with a full charge heavy attack, if it only affected instant cast abilities, or there were weaker morphs of abilities that guaranteed a hit. Then it would be balanced and more welcome.

    As it is now the only ones that hit are ones like radiant destruction which is also horribly broken as well. I avoid using it myself, up until I face off with 3 to 4 enemies all using it one fight, then I'll put it on and we'll all dance around slap fighting for a couple minutes.

    For those that think it's not broken: Start asking why it's used on almost every streamer doing a stamina 1vX build or a magicka NB will run this, and how effective they are without it.

    Give Major Evasion an internal cooldown. 20% chance to dodge is huge and when someone gets lucky and dodges 5 things in a row, thats when you realize how much someones ass is being saved by that skill. Giving it an internal cooldown will help stop multiple dodgings happening in a second. Asking to remove things because it is RNG in a real time action combat game is kinda dumb. You have to compensate for certain things. Its like asking to remove crit because its RNG based.

    Lol I havent been playing any games for a while now, just decided to visit the forums. But hey if you still think a clear 3v2 is exposed than I get exposed all the time. I lose a lot of outnumbered fights

    I don't favor removing the RNG, but giving options to mitigate against it for a trade off. Just like with crit, I can stack inpen to take less damage from it, there should be a few more options to by pass the RNG factor that aren't class specific.

    A cool down timer might work, but that means multi player beat downs would be preferred, and folks already hate the dogpile mentality.
