Okay, bring a mob out of pattern, to the 'home' and they do nothing as it claws them dead.

On PC I'd say it was probably the anti-cheat program if you did this recently. Don't know for sure though.

As for console players "botting" it's most likely multi-boxing.

Before when J-Tags were a thing you would see differences in FPS and other MMO(s) that were available at the time but now it's pretty much impossible unless you're offline and ESO is an online game.

There's nothing preventing a person from plugging a usb cord from an Xbox into a laptop and the laptop simulating a controller, sending commands to the Xbox.

People needs to learn history. Decades ago when electronic stock trading was first began, a guy took the special computer that was for placing stock trades and hooked up dozens of keyboards to it. Then mounted about 40 motorized fingers to each keyboard, one for each key, and hooked those many hundreds of motors to his own computer - programmed it to make super fast commands. All those hundreds of motors hammering, reports said it was like an unending roar of thunder in the room.

If you say botting cannot be achieved on an Xbox, you need to learn some more history and think more creatively. And check google, there are methods to do it for sale if you can't build it yourself. Try not to insult me again.

Things *do* exist beyond windows and apple os. Take a look at Ubuntu, maybe dig up a copy of beos or one of the other old operating systems. Learn things that are outside the current 'box'.

I'm only 41 years old and if I can't retire in 25 years because too many kids still haven't pulled their heads from their rear ends, then I am going to be very very pissed. The things said by Joe / Max / Dead in this thread make me very worried that I will be stuck doing the thinking for a long long time.

@NateAssassin the lions in Hew's bane apply a status named weakness that looks like that. It doesn't hurt but puts you into combat & you can't harvest while in combat even if original NPC deagrowed.

Must have been that, I guess. Only reason I thought it was some sort of anti cheat was the fact that during the effect I was not in combat but it could have just been lag.
