Fully done, I would expect far more than six delves, perhaps in the range of Cyrodiil itself in terms of quantity. However, something makes me think that the zone will be split up into mini-zones, or perhaps even released as Craglorn was: one piece at a time. Releasing the full map in all its landmass, including the scaling that ESO gives to other TES zones (I think I remember seeing ZOS say somewhere that the size of individual areas are 1.5x that of previous TES games to give more space in the MMO) the land would be quite barren and without delves for massive stretches at a time. Perhaps the focus would be overworld content instead, but I'm eager to see how this zone will turn out in the end.
I would be happy if they made this a long term project and kept plugging away at it for a few months, just to get it complete and well constructed. This zone needs to be detailed, on the order of the original game, or people will be disappointed.
I think we need to get it all in one zone, and it should be close to a "remake" of the original game, at least in terms of detail and stuff to do. An expansion more than a quarterly DLC.

I would hope not. They aren't built until 3E 427.Interesting. Rethan Manor, Indarys Manor and Tel Uvirith?
It seems to be set up for a single zone (6 delves, 6 world bosses, 2 public dungeons), so I'm thinking similar to Wrothgar.Enemy-of-Coldharbour wrote: »I wonder if it will be released as one large adventure zone or if they'll just spoon-feed it to us in small patches.
Agreed!AntMan100673 wrote: »6 delves, 6 world bosses, 2 public dungeons etc its sounding wrothgar sized to me
Yeah, people wouldn't be happy with a Wrothgar-sized Vvardenfell. But so far, everything seems to be pointing that way.phreatophile wrote: »It's got to be be bigger than Wrothgar, in Morrowind it was huge. If they do everything else right but make it as small as Wrothgar people will lose it.
It would be a desecration like shooting a stained glass window.
Yeah, that would be great. But if that's the plan, I would have thought we'd be seeing more delves, or six delves concentrated on one half of the island. Craglorn isn't any bigger than Wrothgar, but they managed to fit 18 delves into it.Hopefully it's Upper and lower zones - with the each zone being similar to Wrothgar in size. This would obviously need to be multiple DLCs.

Means nothing to me other then more DLC, as I have never played any other ES games other then ESO.
Looks cool though.
@altemriel Based on the number of POIs, delves, bosses and public dungeons found so far, yes. A similar size to Wrothgar is almost certain. Geographically, however, it should be about twice the size. (see map)am I guessing right, that the area seems as big as Wrothgar? please tell me yes!
@Milvan There is no official information about Vvardenfell at all. In fact, the last official thing they said regarding Vvardenfell was that there were "no plans", which was probably over a year ago.Despite the datamine, concerning official information, what exactly do we know about Vvardenfell?

Yeah, one of the standard responses along the lines of "No plans right now, but we would like to do that", which they have said about many things! I tried to find a reference or a date for when they said it, but no luck. It certainly wasn't recently, though.lordrichter wrote: »I think they also said "they would like to do that", or something along those lines. Semi-official (in that it was posted by a player) from the ESO Live - Episode 10 January 30th 2015

Q: Will we ever see places in the game that are familiar to all fans, like Balmora, Seyda Neen and others? If we compare the map of the world in ESO and the world map of Tamriel in general, we see a lot of missed locations.
A: We certainly hope so!

I wouldn't call that semi-official. It just a vague statement.
Whole of Vvardenfell 5000 crowns.
Calling it now.

Ghostgate makes sense, but do you have a link for Vivec-the-city?

Actually, I think that Vivec City exists in the period of ESO. The Ghostgate, now that would not exist.
