Don't wait for Skywind as it won't capture what makes Morrowind...Morrowind.
Grab it on Steam while the Summer Sale is going on.
I'd recommend a few addons though, nothing that alters the game on a fundamental level. Message me if you'd like help setting up a proper installation of Morrowind that is true to game but eases those who haven't played it into playing a game "that old" and with a little less micromanagement.
They're giving us the entire island? It's going to be scaled way down though isn't it.
The plabale area of Cyrodiil in ESO so probably only 60% of the Obliivon Cyrodiil Map so the ESO version is no where close to being the same size it was in Oblivion, Vvardenfell on the ESO map is the same size as the Rift while in Morrowind it was half the size of Skyrim and if anything the centre will be closed off and most likely be the location of a trial or something so it will be even smaller.

Interesting. Rethan Manor, Indarys Manor and Tel Uvirith?
Do we know the approximate size of it? Will it be smaller or larger than Wrothgar?

Vvardenfell, if kept to lore appropriate scaling, the full isle would be about the same size as the in game (partial) Cyrodiil. Fully done, I would expect far more than six delves, perhaps in the range of Cyrodiil itself in terms of quantity. However, something makes me think that the zone will be split up into mini-zones, or perhaps even released as Craglorn was: one piece at a time. Releasing the full map in all its landmass, including the scaling that ESO gives to other TES zones (I think I remember seeing ZOS say somewhere that the size of individual areas are 1.5x that of previous TES games to give more space in the MMO) the land would be quite barren and without delves for massive stretches at a time. Perhaps the focus would be overworld content instead, but I'm eager to see how this zone will turn out in the end.

Hey, hey guys, remember when Firor said they'd only be releasing small DLCs and there were no dedicated players left so they were going to cater to casuals and we'd never see big adventure zones again. Remember how the sky fell? Remember that?
