Did you move from your original faction?

I joined AD so I could play khajiit. Then I bought explorers pack so I could play khajiit when trying the other faction zones, then I found out about Silver and Gold =(.

No, I later changed to another faction.
My first was in Ebonheart Pact, and it was disgusting so I changed quite quickly; my second was in AD, but I hate elves so that didn't last long; my 3rd and one I'm staying on is DC: they're all Bretons because Bretons are amazing and the whole area is really nice, alongside the questline.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

Beta in EP - hated it. The lava, the bugs, the ravaged lands, just not my cup of tea...

So I started 2014 in NA server with the AD, then 2 months later I realised everyone in my country plays on EU so I migrated and started from scratch... ( had a Altmer sorc as my main, Imp Templar in EP )

Made a DK Imperial in DC and a Sorc Dunmer in AD, Khajiit NB in AD, Orc DK in EP, and a bunch of other AD's and some DC.
all in all in EU I had 4 AD, 2 DC, 2 EP...

I migrated to DC on 19Dec 2015 when I started playing again full time...

I am sitting on 12 chars of which only 1 is AD and 1 is EP ( neither of which are even level 40, close but not there yet )

I only keep them for nostalgic reasons... Never play them

    DC for lyf homie!

So I have 10 DC chars. IF alliance change were possible I would swap them both over to DC

Yes I remained in my first faction.
I always play Khajiit in Elders Scrolls so even though I had the preorder bonus to allow me choosing another faction, I created my first character in AD to learn more about Khajiit lore and culture. Fell in love with the zones, quests, and Razum Dar... so all characters I created from that moment were AD.

With the recent introduction of faction-specific motifs, I created an EP and a DC character too, to be able to obtain the motifs and motif stones without giving gold to someone of the enemy factions. I am slowly playing those two characters but with them, I'll do solo pve exclusively.

yes. I was originally ad faction for nearly 2 years. I leveled many vet 16 characters, played pvp and pve. but I concentrate now on pvp. I grew increasingly annoyed with pvp on ad, long story short. I decided to switch, but switch so I couldn't go back so to speak. I unloaded all my good gear to the bank, transferred money gold etc and deleted all my ad characters except one, my master crafter. I then recreated on dc all my names and started again. I don't regret it at all, dc a much better place to pvp than ad was. for me that is

I sorta did, sorta didn't. I'm voting that I remained on my first faction because the Dominion was my first and only faction on the live servers.

At first, I wanted to have my main character in the Pact, a couple of them in the Covenant and another in the Dominion, but I ended up deciding against it. The reason I picked Dominion on live was because I had some pretty bad experiences in the other two factions during the betas. I know it is unfair with the live population of the Pact and the Covenant, I imagine that the people who gave me a bad time didn't even stay after the beta tests ended (I really don't have anything against the other factions nowadays, otherwise I would leave the game because of the release of One Tamriel, but I am actually excited for it), but I ended up sticking with the only faction that had people who were nice to me and where I made friends on beta. Under such circumstances, it was incredibly easy to develop faction pride and make all of my ten characters in the Dominion.

I am sorry for commenting so late, I get lost between the notifications ;___;!
Can you maybe share with me what were those bad experiences? (only if you feel comfortable about it of course!!!) I am thinking about...well not moving but being in AD and EP because I am a nord at heart a bit (in love with forests and snow <3) but I kept on hearing bad things about the faction and that they might be a bit elitist and I am a terrible gamer... please mind that I am not saying the faction is bad or anything, its just what I kept on hearing that made me not that eager to join even though I would love to :(... I only played there for like 10 levels, with both male and female characters. My females were treated nicely, however my male was a bit picked on, not sure why, maybe because I have a very female name and they thought I am catfishing or something? I dont know...anyway, please get back to me if you wish <3!!! And anyone else willing to give any insight!

      Voted for multiple factions.
I'm a roleplayer, and I go wherever the roleplay takes my characters!
Though I started in the BETA as EP, at release I made my chars in AD (as that was were the guild was located) and then made chars and namesakes in all factions. The guild isn't faction bound, and I feel no special love for any of the factions.
My strongest characters are in AD tho, for PvP purposes
