If they actually fix this in time to purchase, I'll buy it. But I sure as hell won't spend a dime on it as it stands- nor any costume that shows such a poor lack of quality.

I'm not particularly picky- but this has NO resemblance to the cinematic Hero costume, IMO.

I doubt it will ever look like the cinematic one

... there are just a few improvements they can do since capes dont work in Tamriel, such as fixing the distortion it gives foreheads and hopefully the textures... however if they released it like this, I dont know if they will even think about improving it, otherwise why would they release a half done "hero" costume? I am more curious now if there will be other hero costumes for other races! Hopefully good this time!

Can you use your limited skills and try to make the hood look more like the origianal? Make the hood a little more pointy in the middle and the top part a little lower? It doesnt look Evil like the origanal.

I agree even with minor improvement it looks a bit better, it's a shame, however that it won't fix the Sticks-To-Your-Legs animation or the Robe look.

Thank you! It would fix at least a tiny thing! I am also wondering if the hood has to be that pointy? Or if more "rounded" would be better...

Yep, and that's why all the "hub-bub" over it, too. Furthermore, a lot of people spent to get it and didn't realize until after they purchased it how poor in quality it really was.

IMO they (ZOS) really need to offer returns for this item unless they're going to fix it immediately- and possibly even extend the sale of the item after they've fixed it if they want more sales.

Again, just MY opinion anyway.

I'm thinking something like this. (Look at these amazing paint skills.) I used the middle image because i think the pointyness needs to stay.

The original looks a lot more "diamond" like but the hoodie we got is like an "oval". Notice how his shoulders are also a lot higher up and covered in armour compared to our shoulders. This makes are hoodie look long and terrible.

@EstelioVeleth Your doing a great job by the way! Your small tweaks have already improved the costume 10 fold! If anything your exposing the Art team/ Director big time for their laziness.

I wouldn't say the Hood was the main problem. It's the bad textures, the lack of layering and clipping issues. I mean the hood is bad too. But I wouldn't say it makes or breaks the outfit.

I wanted this so bad with my Elven Hero armour! But THIS!

No way to spend 2000 on this. Not even 500!

How this even passed the initial quality control is beyond me?

1. Costume is thin, 2D, low res. No sense of metal, stitching, plates etc.
2. Looks terrible on women - they have no waist.
3. Ugly high forehead.
4. Is more like a ceremonial robe than a stealth-badass-bow-dagger ranger.
5. Please return to whoever designed this and make it great.

It was a good try

, the dev's will probably get what your trying to convey by the comments. I think your first changes, the image in the middle was the best out of them all (image below).

Exactly, it looks very low resolution, and kind of...like a block of long blue soap.

I think they released a picture about the breton costume months ago, I saw it on blogs, so does that mean that they maybe made the costume that long ago and didnt look at it since? Didnt try to improve it or work on it at all?...thats what makes me a bit lose hope, that they wont give it another try even...
