And what people don't realize is how much money they make off of mounts and costumes. Let's say 1000 people (non ESO Plus members) got the Dro'Mathra Seche.. That's $40K they made off on one single mount. These people make BANK off of us players (CLIENT). And if you put out bad work, we have all the rights to demand a fix or to be refunded.

sadly ppl will keep buying crap from the crown store ..sucker the next lot of ppl into it FFS EA have been doing it for years!!! PPL keep giving them money dumb sh.ts!! dont think ill be buying anything from the crown store again unless they sort there sh.t

Figuring since the mount was 4000 crowns. Most people would buy the 5500 crowns = $40x1000 = $40k

It really does look soooo bad once it I put it on, not even trying to be ovrely negative but it looked like my guy put on some sweats or something. Really baggy, and ugh idk, the db costume and thieves guild look wayyyyy better imo.

I don't see why they would tell you this. It would take the pressure off for you to buy because they are most likely not going to do something like this.. just because someone posted this morning that they should take it down and redo it doesn't actually mean it's going to happen. Would you really expect zos to do that when they were already fine with releasing the product how it is?

Hell enough people bought it that they probably don't really give a *** about it anymore.. it served its purpose lol.

Buying the first one wasnt a good decision... but with the dyeing coming to costumes I dont regret it so much as you can make the costume work with the right colors. Buying the 2nd one I dont regret at all - probably the coolest costume in game for me atm and with dyes itll be awesome. Now this new one, the Breton one... I cant in good mind justify spending crowns on it. Had ZOS gone the distance and actually made a coat mesh for it insead of painting a cloak on top of a robe mesh I would most likely have bought it already. If theres a costume that really needs a dedicated mesh its this one. The way it is now I wont be buying it. The costume simply doesnt work with a robe mesh.

Thanks ZOS but I like my money much more than this trash.

This is by far the worst costume ZOS has put in the crown store. Which is a shame as it was probably one of the most requested.

It's reasonable math, well, up to a point. Except for the part where that still would have left 1500 crowns left over, which would presumably be spent on something else. So, at that point, the crowns are about 137 to the dollar, hence 29k.

It's legitimate to say, the company got 40k total, but to say they made 40k off this specific item is a bit disingenuous. Because, statistically, some of the people buying would have already had a crown balance from other sources. Additionally, you're artificially diverting money that was actually generated by some other 1500 crown item(s), which, they weren't.

It's also not quite accurate accurate to say they made that much without having information on how much the item cost to make (regardless of your opinions on the quality, artists and developers were paid to design and implement these items), and how much it cost to get them certified for the consoles.

Sorry OP, I got a bit carried away, but I stopped answering after a while. I dont want this thread to be closed either, I want them to fix this!

I have played many mmo's and other types of online games for a long time, and I have seen much worse armor looks and clipping and shoulders floating in air and shields that hang off the back with a huge gap, every game suffers from this to a point, I wish they would have done a better job, as far as the cloak this game does not have cloaks in game, for some strange reason, I dunno I don't buy much out of the crown store, but it is what it is maybe they will improve it, but would not hold my breath. It will never be perfect and nitpicking will not make it better, but it does not hurt to point it out to ZOS.

One of the reasons I made this: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/280218/hero-costumes/p1 - is to see how many people here actually bought the costume. From the numbers, even combining the other 2 hero outfits, more people opted not to buy any.

I would wager had our voices been heard and the costumes were tweaked or brought down in price more people would have purchased.

I feel terrible for you people that dished out money for this, and got a subpar outfit.
I really hope they fix it up! If they do, I'll even consider getting it myself, even though
I find the price a bit much to swallow.

I can't really take these issues too seriously, since frankly all three of the Hero costumes came with masses of complaints they weren't 1:1 recreations of the massively detailed intro cinematic costumes. Most of them really weren't that bad (Elven Hero looked more dark green than black to me), but mind you, I didn't buy any of them and especially didn't buy them within 5 minutes of release and demand a refund.

I don't know, I get people don't like the quality but... would you rather have it, or not at all?
