I'd say that they'll raise it by at least 51 in the Dlc after that though because they're trying to give the new players(the new money) time to reach the experience level and cp level of the neglected long time players.

So sometime around the year 2025, by my estimates...dwemer_cog11 wrote: »... I guess when CP cap will reach 800 ...

As I understand it, casuals are likely those who have full time jobs and henceforth they cannot dedicate a majority of their time to a game. The "daddy's credit card kids" are those who have nothing else to do except spend their parent's money on games and devote their time to sitting on their a s s playing video games.
I am glad they've increased it only by 30 though, if that is indeed the case.
Nah casuals are the ones who aren't at max CP yet after 2 years of playing this game. The daddy's credit card kids are the ones who buy all the crown store items.

Not truly capping CP and allowing players to see how much they've gathered beyond the cap gives people something to complain about for sure.
Unless the CP trees would grow & expand over time, with the increase of CP Cap..They will need to cap it or people will just max everything & where is the excitement in that?
Wasn't the reason to implement the CP system to diversify your character after lvl 50?
If the cap keeps getting raised I believe the CP system will lose its original purpose ,as people with enough CP will be able to max out everything.
Then CP would serve a new purpose; to exclude players that haven't maxed out their CPs yet, annihilating the original intention of CP implementation
As every max cp cap player would have everything & the CP system no longer serves as a system to diversify your character from the rest after 50.
UNless the CP trees would grow with the increase of max cap?
Or cp might become a currency for something else;like unlocking new world skill lines.
Like 200 CP would allow you to discover illusion magic or the bard skill line.
Or you could swap between Champion point progression and reputation
Reputation would be used in new areas to unlock new world skill lines linked to a certain guild
So you would need to align with a guild like dark brotherhood & switch your CP lvl gain to reputation in order to gain enough
to unlock a certain hierarchy in that guild.
Like the mage guild would have new unlockable tiers too with archemage at the top.
reputation could also be used at shrines to worship a certain deadra (or aedra)
For the emperor's arena ,players could use reputation ,allowing them to unlock a berserker/barbarian skill line if they gather enough.
Then there might be other guilds like mythic dawn, knights of the nine, the blades,...
I believe the choice between CP progression and reputation gain would be an interesting one.

Yep. All my guilds have most players stuck at 501.
