Outside of the initial box price, you can have a second acct for free...you dont need to be eso+

And while I posted about my craglorn setup you can see that doesnt really have much to do with guild store sales....the 27k from doing writs isnt reflected in guild store sales. those sales come from selling hot items and flipping other items.
Hot items= lich pieces, willpower and agility rings, motifs, etc.

it doesnt take more than an hour or two for you to farm hews bane and gold coast bosses for motifs and rack up a nice chunk of gold.

By the way, i still think your AP is better spent on the motifs than the rng bags if youre looking to make gold.

I have to agree with OP, however there is a difference between working hard for something for a Very reasonable time frame, a 1-2 months at most and eventually getting it, vs wasting your life away working for a 1% drop rate, I myself have been sitting at rank 33 of enchanting for the past 3 months thats how bad the glyph drop rate is. Grind is a naturally occurring phenomenon of mmos, however it is supposed to be a secondary thing it's not meant to be the game at least for me its not.
See when I finally get whatever I'm after I keep playing the endgame, the endgame is not to get an item and then quit because I beat the game, I do agree that the monetary income rate of just playing the game is too low even if I put time aside to grind for it i feel like I'm banging my head against the wall. Playing the auction house is definitely not the way I do it and is absolutely unfeasible for me in a game with a serious auction house design flaw.
There is a huge difference between playing a game and grinding, granted there are people out there who think Grinding is gameplay and fun, but again for me and others grinding is not fun, its tedious, and boring and not what we want to pay for. People like us just need to be able to see the end of the road, we can't endorse a arbitrary design concept
Example: you'll possibly get it between when you buy the game and die IRL. I'm still playing the game but I'm opting out of the grind because the game allows me to do so, but in my opinion it is walking a dangerous line, there are games out there that are based entirely off of grinding and then there are those that are based on gameplay, eso is 50/50 for me right now the rest of my crafting skills are maxed out I've been playing since october last year, and I can't see the end of the road for enchanting.

I do not really understand where the problem is, when you can upgrade an item to gold quality for 72k gold. I have just 8 low level characters, but those make about 50k gold within 4-5 hours. If I can do that with low level characters, it should be much less effort for a high level character. To me this does not seem expensive at all.

OP wants to enjoy PVP all day and not work to get mats or the required gold.

Ok, but then the problem is not game design, but his personality.

But...But....they added the Stupid Raid Gear vendor in PVP so why should we have to go out and Grind all day When PvPers don't have to run Raids/dungeons quests for the Raid gear :(

Actually, you only require Xbox Live on one account, if the box is set as primary for that account. If you wanted to run it on two boxes at the same time, the account with Live has to play on its non-primary box. (I don't have Live; husband does, and we play together).

My honest opinion about the matter might not be welcome - I think, they do that, to keep PvPers in the game as customers, whilst the game itself is going into another direction. Making it easier to get to what they want, is one way to keep them happy without to have to add a lot of content for them - this goes hand in hand with changes to the game mechanics, which makes it necessary to reroll characters over and over and over again - that keeps them busy - while no new content is actually added for them. It is a form of hiding, that this game will never be what they expect, whilst keeping them as costumers.

I agree there as well, @Lysette, I so do.
Which is why i opted to seperate the game from PvP, and have the issues done with.

PvP has been the very death and imbalance of what TES actually is.
Not to mention, the non-lore in here, due to PvP.

head to stonefalls or any starter system and Steal gear/break it down and sell the mats.

Alternately Head to The Rift and Start Competing for the Strongboxes,

all of it can be done early on and can make you Rich if you got the patience for it.

Agreed. I don't like the idea of Legendary quality gear being "a must" to compete. Epic gear should be enough for any current content, and legendary gear should be considered a bonus.

    That is the case already.
Only gold weapons make a significant difference, puple/gold gear is not really noticeable. And upgrading weapons is not that expensive.

@lysette how are you making 50k Gold on low characters?

I think I have described it in this thread already - it is a mix of things - writs, thief troves, playing the market - I do thief trove gathering in the low population time and can get lots and lots of items to fence - those large shipment crate contents. Playing the market is basically looking for under-priced items at traders in remote or less busy locations, buy them and sell them to contractors, who have access to the top traders, where these items can be over-priced - it is basically difference business. Certain goods have at different times of the week their peak or low point, it is basically just using that swing, created by changes in supply and demand, which again are based on player behavior - so playing the markets is basically interpreting player behavior and estimate what effects that will have in the near future.

Edit: whilst the effort is just about 4-5 hours, this is nothing what can be done on a daily basis - so do not make this into 350k per week, this is not the case.

An example of how to interpret behavior and estimate a market shift - it was pretty clear, that with the release of the DB DLC people will buy additional character slots. Those doing pvp will within a couple of days after launch be at level 50 - and then they can wear gear like their main characters on this alt - this results in a shortage of gold tempers a couple of days after launch of the DLC - so when you have thought this over before DLC launch, you could buy these tempers and sell them with a high profit a few days after DLC launch.

Do you have a good harvest route for thief troves - then put on your darkstride set and perma-sprint between those locations and harvest those troves - at low population times. You will find about in every 3rd some content - in comparison to about every 6th at average times and much less at prime time.

Well, and the same can be done with a good harvesting route for runes and flowers - columbine pays well - and most likely as well those for poisons, but I have not done the research for those yet. But I am pretty certain, that the time will come, where I know a good harvest route to earn good money with speed-harvesting them in low population times.

...huh? No, you definitely can't do that, or at least I can't do that. I had a Trial work like that once, but my Xbox Live Gold membership absolutely does not spill over to other accounts on my xbox, I've tried and it doesn't work. Just this past week I made 9 alternate accounts and used them to populate a Guild I just created for the sole purpose of having my own personal Guild Bank that I didn't have to share with anyone, and I had to activate a Trial code to play ESO on the alternate accounts (I loaded up ESO first and ESO told me I couldn't play without a Live membership).

I was surprised to find though that a single trial code activated all the accounts I made, I thought I'd have to scour my old games for unused trials and pay for a membership for the few I couldn't find a code for, but after the first code was entered all the other accounts let me play ESO without giving me the prompt for another code. So I'm not sure why that happened, but I can tell you for an absolute and undeniable fact that my Xbox does not let me play on multiple accounts with a single Xbox Live Gold membership.

Hm I do not get a lot of maps, but a whole lot of those edicts, which come in handy, when i have to open thief troves near NPCs where I basically know, that I will be seen. But then I use an edict and are upstanding again.

Those starter islands are a good location for that - new players do normally not have access to DLC content - so these troves are often untouched there.

@knowledgeseeker what server are you on? If you are on PC NA, I can send you glyphs I find.

Personally, I find that Public Dungeons and delves in Cyrodiil are a good source of glyphs. Also, if you are leveling, be sure to do the writs, as they give you Inspiration towards your enchantment AND a green glyph you can decon.

If you can find another player who is also leveling enchanting, trade glyphs with them, as deconstructing glyphs crafted by another character gives you the highest Inspiration return.

Yeah, because the "experts" have done such a great job managing things... Which they have, as far as they're concerned, the rich are richer than ever and the poor just as poor as ever, exactly the way rich and powerful people like it, makes it easier for them to hold onto their power and money.
