Folks you need to point the finger where the guilt lies and that is ZOS. They by allowing and failing to put a lid on hacks and
exploits have destroyed PvP. Players have only taken advantage of their lack to do anything about the cheating.

So if you think by complaining in this thread or any other thread identifying hacks and exploits ZOS will do anything about it you have another thought coming.

I see what you are saying, but on the other side of the "filthy casual" coin we have people (about 4 of my friend at least) who see this going on blatantly and without repercussions... so we are at a cross roads.

They are getting frustrated and fed up (I am too) and are considering moving on, since every damn time something like this happens, it effs over the legit players, driving up costs, causing stupid nerfs, or ruining player interactions.

A couple of these friends are also considering participating in the problem as well... can't get a VMA weapon? Cheese it! Nothing will happen to you. Running out of gold mats? Hack bot!

Can ZoS not see the problem with this?

You are alienating and pissing off your legit players. Unf**k yourself please.

Because a couple of people used some hax engine out there, to get 2 or 3 spots on the leaderboards that go up to 100, and messes up campaings that reset with a weekly or monthly basis, you want to take the whole servers out ?
What about the people who simply don't play to compete? you're going to block them from the game they PAY for, because you're salty you got cheated over a freaking match ?

Khajiit would have the characters of every confirmed cheater firstly put in the stocks for a week.

We can all then go and laugh at them and maybe throw the tomatoes and a stale sweetroll or two?

For the second offence they should be jailed and fined half of all the gold they own. The gold should be donated to 'Feed the Khajiit'. A most worthy cause! Khajiit has seen many empty jail cells around Tamriel. Perhaps it is time to fill them with someone other than Santie yes?

For the third offence have them executed in the town square and also give Khajiit all their money and stuff.

What about when the cheaters wreck the game's economy so much that your gold and rare mats you worked hard to accumulate is worth nothing?

What about when the cheater, render PvP pointless because you attempt to play by the rules but get insta-killed by someone who doesn't and uses an exploit?

What about when you're in a dungeon group and the challenge of the boss fight is effectively negated because one (or more) of your group use a hack or exploit to win the fight?

Will you care then?

This is the sentiment that people who play this game as a single player often take. "I didn't do it, so who cares?".

The ripple-effect is real.

Any exploit in any area of the game translates/has repercussions in all areas.

Hi guys, we treat reports of exploits and cheating very seriously. As there are several topic on this matter, we're asking that people keep the discussion to this thread so it remains focused and doesn't overwhelm General Discussion.

Also, when discussing exploits or cheating it's important to never discuss the details of how it is preformed. If you have details, you can submit them via the help site.

In addition, please never name anyone who is exploiting, as this is against the rules. You can report people in-game, or submit a support ticket detailing what was done. If the latter, please note that the more information you can include, the easier it will be for us to investigate.
