10+ Kena kills m.... boo hoo buddy.... I farmed her for 9 months before one dropped for me I have like 110+ kena kills. And it was well fitted at that... The RNG Gods smile not on me.

You killed Molag Kena 10+ times lol I had to get 3000 kills on players to get enough ap to buy it. Sounds like you got the easy end of the deal.

Yeh. I'm sure many will disagree. But as much as I hate RNG, it's annoying that you can just up and buy potentially BiS end-game gear. I'll never support vMA or Trial sets up for grabs by dropping some gold/AP. Just seems to minimize the effort some people put in to get said gear.

10 runs and helmet you wanted, are good.
Someone might have 50 runs before they get it. And then there is 3 different armor types to get it in, and then maybe you get it in completely wrong trait.

So you may end up with more then 100 wgt runs or something.

Kena 2 piece is overrated anyway. I want it just for getting the set complete, but won't buy it. Doing just fine with other monster sets.

I don't really care the dungeon has been out forever. This will give a little bit of relief to those that have terribad RNG and those that would prefer to spend their time pvping rather than dungeon grinding. Admittedly, I do think the price is a little bit low.

My only request is that the next vet dungeon helmets to release don't go on the vendor for at least 2-3 months.

I definitly hope this is an attempt to troll, took me 60 runs for well fitted, all by all i did over a 100 runs for my divines. Im glad they sell it woul've saved me a lot of time. 10 runs thats a joke

I think they should have made new piece names and a more regular armor look with the same set bonuses. Then PVPers would have an equivalent and PVEers would still have the proof of accomplishment show piece. If that makes sense.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but the drop rates were set so high i get one around every other run, i got about 10 to drop in the last week. At this point it just doesnt matter, and the whole dlc helms wont drop was just a rumor with nothing to back it up people clung to on the forums, it was pointed out time and time again that they could come up on the rotation

I ran Darkshade for over a year almost daily and never got an engine guardian helm. Finally bought one when it was on sale at vendor back in March.

YMMV.

I'll be honost though im glad they got it and dont have to spend their time like that im not selfish, and in the end it was worth it. Also have a full divines set of spell power cure so i aint mad and it was fun doing so. Dont be selfish let them enjoy it.

Oh, I know right, most of my runs involved 2-3 players getting the helmet drop together so it seemed pretty common.

On a side note: These guys claiming they ran it 50+ times without getting 1, I don't buy into that personally.

I agree iv run vwgt so many times and not one drop on the helm not even a crap trait one, dont know why people are complaining about it being in the vender, even If you dont have the dlc or plus you still have a right to max your build the its best after all everyone is complaining about subs getting craft bags and its unfair if you dont sub hows this any different

What "RIGHT" are you taking about? This is a video game with product blocked behind paywalls. You want some of the best gear or the next level of gear, you put out the money for the access and the effort for the kill. If you think you have a "RIGHT" to max your build to its best, without having to complete the dungeon or purchase the DLC, you (should be) mistaken. But then again, ZOS logic...

Like someone else said, next up will be Maelstrom weapons and instant level 50 xp potions for late bloomers. If crafting bags ever go to the crown store, god help me...

And with all things random, there will be outliers. If there were no crazy outliers, then I'd suspect that it wasn't really random.

In my case, despite religiously doing pledges every day on multiple characters (to give you an idea of what that means, I have almost 900 Undaunted keys saved up), I didn't get a single Bogdan drop in about half a year. And on the other extreme, I had a streak where I got 4 Engine Guardian heads in 4 runs and 6 Blood Spawn heads in 9 runs (none of them were in the Heavy+Infused combination that is BiS for tanking, so even though I had 20+ BS heads, I bought one when it came up on the vendor). I was in a vCoH farming group where one member of the group got a headpiece in every run except one, and I didn't get a single one.

Whew that's insane, but yeah RNG can be that harsh so maybe 50+ runs isn't so dramatic after all. I guess you're saving those keys up for the future monster sets, if so... great idea.

I got Engine Guardian on my 29th run. I've never gotten a second.. and I've done over 100 vDC runs.
I had done 100+ vCoH runs. My crew had it down in under ten mins.. I never got a single Nerein'eth helm - bought it at the Golden the second it came out.
I've done 50+ vCoA runs. Never gotten a Skoria helm (or shoulder in the chest!)
Done 70 or so vWayrest runs.. not a single Malubeth ever...
I've done 100+ vSpindle & vFG runs. I have a dozen Spawn of Mephala and Bloodspawn pieces.

RNG is a ***. All I want is a damn helm and all I get is f***ing Laurel! (and I don't even like the Mercenary style!)

Just because you were lucky on your tenth time doesn't mean everyone else is. 95% of the thread are telling you this.. perhaps listen?

Relax. It's just my personal opinion that I think most of you claiming to have killed her 50 times without getting a helmet drop are probably over-exaggerating, why do I think so? because anyone can say it. Even I could edit my original post right now and claim to have killed her 50+ times, but I prefer being truthful.

Fact is, even if you have killed her 50+ times, the joke's on you because her helmet is for sale right now.
