InfaM✭✭✭Don't Nerf !They shouldn't nerf the difficulty, once you get used to it , average players run it in around 50-60 minutes.
On the other side they should *** increase the drop rate on maelstrom weapon or totally changes the RNG system , because spending time farming maelstrom arena to be rewarded with *** armor/jewelry/bad traits is clearly something that need to be changed.

Fallen_Ray✭✭✭✭✭I feel you, Zenimax's idea of challeging is thowing you in a pit full of daedra. Each daedra has over 300k HP, over 800k magicka and stamina (see how they spam endless skills & spells?) and each attack deals no less than 7000 damage to you. If that's not bad enough let's add in a puzzle for you to solve in a middle of the fight.
Can't solve it? Too bad you get instant death for over 45k damage. This reminded me of Dark Souls 2. How the game made itself "difficult" by just filling an area with mobs of enemies with infinite stamina (FromSoftware's Soul Games resource to do everything) and just attacked endlessly.
In a group this overpowered enemies in a pit with puzzles sounds nice. But alone?! Unless you find a way to "cheese" every arena it's gonna be a pain.
I don't think the Vet Maelstrom needs a nerf, but it can't stay as it is (which is why I didn't vote for either). To me it needs a redesign, pretty much like everything combat related in this game"Dear brother, I do not spread rumors, I create them"- Lucien Lachance1 -

I recognise some sort of L2P issue.
You have paid and got access to the content. Nobody guaranteed that you are able to finish this content, because this is not single player game(and nobody guaranteed that you can finish single player game on hardest difficulty). Also, it is simple to complete normal version of this content, but veteran version is for those, who really care about their effectiveness, so they need MSA weapons, and only such players deserve it.Edited by Scraelos on May 11, 2016 1:29PM0 -

✭✭✭✭Don't Nerf !I entered vet Maelstorm arena first time today I stuck on arena 5 round 3 with my magicka sorcerer no matter what i did i just kept fail. Mobs were just so overwhelming for a sinle player...
Before enter i ve read all the guides watched all the videos on internet i tried my own tactics but no nothing worked.
My items all legandary with legandary enchants 5x julianos 4x magnus 3x willpower arcane all divine with nirn weapons.
I tried literally everything spent lots of gold respeccing/repairs/pots...
Also i got minumum 225-260 ping on NA server maybe thats the reason but i think it should get nerfed.
With pugs few times i was able to finish vCoA and Never finished IC dungeons on vet so with these statistics this arena is not for %95 of the players.. Which they've paid for that DLC and they cant finish the content...
Thats why i canceled my sub few minuntes ago because i pay money for DLCs and i expect entertainment in return not headache or rage or mindless difficulty...I like challenge too i really do i hate easy games i didnt even bother with normal arena. But this is too much. We have already score system and leaderboard its already competitive making this bit easier wont change anything in competition sense, better players still will have better score.
Cyrodiil is unplayable with insane lag and DLC contents are too hard solo/pugging what else left to do? Daily quests i guess..

Thats your problem you say you went in for the 1st time. What exactly brings you to think that you should be able to beat it on the 1st try this is the problem people think like you. You walk in and expect to get it on the 1st try it takes time and practice it's called progression I dont remember everyone coming to the forums and asking for nerfs for vmol after they only tried it one time and didn't get it. 1. Start the stage on the island with the Power and Defense Sigils.
2. Start with Overload.
3. Overload the Archers and Casters down. Ignore the Atronachs.
4. Of course take down the trolls.
5. Once the second wave of adds come out, grab the defense Sigil. Turn off overload.
6. Weave down the adds, and take care of all adds.
7. You can grab a power sigil at this time and take down the Atronachs.
8. Repeat for Stage 40 -

Yes but for example people like me, that play a lot, try to get better, spend a ton of time trying and trying... I died like 100 times on the first level, (yes, I am probably the worse gamer you ever met) everytime I tried it I couldnt do it. I am not really bothering about them making it easier to be honest, it was one of the most enjoyable contents I tried in ESO, but at least give us the chance to bring a friend into the fight, I cant do it on my own, I sux, and I play ESO A LOT, but eso never even trained me for such a fight, I always feel like I am strolling through a park while playing this game.

Aeaeren✭✭✭Don't Nerf !You should try it as a Stam Nightblade. In Normal mode I am stuck on the ice giant. Yup not enough damage to him before I have to swim and die but I will work it out.
I tried hard mode by accident and got wiped early but here's the thing I have only been in the Arena a couple of times. I haven't learned all the in's and out's yet so not only am I dealing with RNG I am also dealing with having no clue on what mobs spawn where and what mobs do what to me. I have just begun to figure out a STRATEGY to beat it and that's the key to beating vMA is a STRATEGY!

diskiukas✭✭✭Nerf !The way I understand is -if you want a challenge , you go to Cyro( non CP campaign never lags and even more challenging). Here is everything dynamic, you need your quickness of hands and mind, you need to learn mechanics and combos, you need awareness , you need good gear ( not like PVE where is everything scripted and sooner or later you will be able to beat everything in there) etc. Basically -PVP is the answer to all those that complaining that PVE is too easy in ESO. Believe me , there will be always someone better than you in Cyro and so you will always have room for improvement.Now as PVE goes, it should be casual, I dont like to spend hours and hours , over and over, trying to learn how and then, months later, to beat same boss( like it was with Mantikora, VMA or Vet Maw). I have enough challenges in real life, I want to come home from work and faceroll PVE stuff and when I want harder content ,I go PVP. So yes please nerf it, PVE is meant to be casual.2
