But this is too much. We have already score system and leaderboard its already competitive making this bit easier wont change anything in competition sense, better players still will have better score.

    Cyrodiil is unplayable with insane lag and DLC contents are too hard solo/pugging what else left to do? Daily quests i guess..



    As I understand it you tried one that of the few challenging things in the game once, immediately cancelled your sub, and then went on the forums to demand a nerf.

    To answer that first question I expressed that people have a right to an opinion... not "rights" thats using ambiguity of the term ....

    My response remains the same regardless of how you say it. I am not arguing his rights or his rights to have an opinion. There is no rule against hastily formed, ridiculous opinions.

    I think it's good to have challenging content that you have to work towards completing.

    You know that was your first time right? My first time I couldn't get past arena 1. Now I'm on the leaderboards every week. I also used to get stuck on 5. It just takes a few times.. Don't just die and call nerf.

    Finishing VMA felt like a true, honest achievement. It was hard -- damn hard -- and the first time I managed to kill the final boss of the trial my hands were trembling because I had such a hard time getting through it. It felt like a real victory. It doesn't need to be nerfed. I agree that there's a lot of content in the game that should be accessible, but Trials SHOULD be hard. There's a normal and vet mode for a reason.

    Why is it that whenever anything is harder then a mudcrab it needs to be nerfed? I'm so tired of the challenging content being nerfed because some people want to beat everything with their eyes closed. No it should not be nerfed and i hope it doesn't get nerfed.

    I have yet to complet vMA. I'm stuck on the boss of the 5th arena but for the love of all that is good, please don't nerf one of the last challenging things in this game. I've been slowly making progress through this dungeon and things that seemed impossible at first were more doable the more I did each arena and understood where things spawn during what round. With vWGT, vICP and vCoA getting nerfed in the next patch, the only challening things will be two 12-man dungeons (vMoL and vSO) and a solo dungeon.

    Maybe you are the type that should try normal first to get at least a small idea of what your doing before trying vet...

    I will almost certainly never complete it. The idea of dying over and over and over again on ultra-hard content just so I can master exactly the right way to do it sounds like the complete and total opposite of what constitutes a "good game" to me. To me, that's a terrible game.

    I say make more of it.

    That way, maybe the people who actually enjoy the sensation of banging their heads against walls will have more stuff they enjoy and will stop trying to get ZOS to turn the stuff I enjoy into the stuff they enjoy.

    My original vote was "no nerf", but at this point, I just don't care any more.

    Four of my five VR characters have beaten it. I'm running it each week for the weekly--but I don't run it any more than that because it just isn't fun.

    Part of that is because it's solo. But a large part of it is the tuning of the arena. Specifically, the amount of incoming damage makes it very unforgiving. Make a mistake, and it's very difficult--if not impossible--to recover. This unforgiving nature of the arena also makes luck and RNG into much more prominent factors than they should be. These thin margins also makes memorization more important than it should be.

    I don't find it to be fun, the initial thrill of beating it for the first time is long gone, and my weekly runs are chores that I put off rather than things that I eagerly jump into. So, yea, I won't care any more if they tune it down. 1-shot (or almost-1-shot) mechanics and the unforgiving nature doesn't translate into a fun challenge--it's just a fount of frustration.

    I cannot even finish the first boss of the first round of Normal mode. But, no, should not reduce the difficulty of either Normal or Vet. Once I get through each wave, I know I am coming along and it is satisfying. Making it so 50% or more can complete it, where is the satisfaction. I think more things in-game should be more difficult or level with your character that do not.

    If beta testers, etc. were successful at completing it, it is possible to complete. Just need to learn mechanics and have right combination of skills and equipment. Having the attitude that all things should be easy for the majority or casual player is wrong for the success of the game. If you want that, go play a single person game.

    With pugs few times i was able to finish vCoA and Never finished IC dungeons on vet so with these statistics this arena is not for %95 of the players.. Which they've paid for that DLC and they cant finish the content...

    I have cleared IC dungeons on PTS, even before they got nerved twice(?). Now they mobs are doing ~30%(guess it was the value) less damage then before... Right now we pull sometimes 3 groups together to get a little bit of challenge... Ok, we are maybe a little bit "better" but only because we like the game and we love to test, practise and play arround with some skills... Do you know; Some of us change there skills during a dungeon. Sometimes even from group to group...
    We wiped on PTS for 15h+ only in prison... and same amount in tower.

    Guys like you, crying after 5h that something is to hard are destroying the game. Go normal mode in MSA if veteran is to hard for you.

    You like challenges? Is that the reason why y go with bugs into prison or tower? I am sure there are also good guilds on the NA-Server.

    After days of rage and throwing stuff at my walls and punching my desk and just about punching a hole through my monitor I am still voting no because during that time I forced myself to learn the mechanics and when I finally beat a stage it was so satisfying. Eventually I did give up on stage 4 with my Stam DK and I am working on a Templar now but I plan on going back after DB releases to try again with my DK.

    I didn't do the arena yet, but it sounds to me like it is something like WoW's Proving Grounds and their "endless" achievements - something you are supposed to work towards, not get on your first try, learning a lot about your character and the game in the process.

    The only problem would be if it drops the BiS gear that is unobtainable anywhere else. I am mostly a group player and I would hate having to spend hours upon hours trying to complete some solo content to get the good gear. I don't play an MMO to play solo, after all...
