It IS a trantrum when you go from protesting/saying your peace to making constant repeat threads for attention. You're making an ass of yourself.

    Insults now?

You don't seem to understand how protesting works. The central idea is to make yourself hard to ignore and disruptive to things the target of your protest is involved in.

If YOU don't like protesting, then there is no reason to protest yourself is there?

Please don't try and deny your large, dismissive and marginally relevant cartoon spam wasn't itself a protest Taisynn...

... that's precisely what it is.

So - turn that frown upside down and admit you're a protester yourself!
Call it a protest if you want - I call it acting like an annoying kid who doesn't get what he wants at the candy store.

I don't agree with the shield nerfs, surge changes and generally think other classes, except a few already there, should've been buffed to match magicka sorc. But acting like a spoiled brat, covering it as 'going against the authority' and 'protesting'?

Nah. You'll get nothing constructive out of this. Enjoy the ban, though.

i simply don't get the shield changes they make little sense beside push even more annoying sorc builds and increased ganking against them. what makes sorcs strong imo is their ability to live through every burst you throw at them simply by pressing 3 buttons over and over again and then counter with a fast deadly burst of their own. nothing beside making that stronger has changed. for pvp i like the surge changes for the reasons i stated.

Yes the changes - all of them, do nothing to prevent fast shield spam survivability. they even make it a little easier if HW and Annulment are on the same bar!

They do however wreck PvE play for Mag. Sorcs. and this was clearly completely disregarded when the changes were designed.

Khajiit thinks that maybe the best way to get the communication of the developer (or parent, teacher, patron of the Rosy Lion) is to ask nicely.

Firstly this one believes the person you are trying to contact is Mr Wrobel? Perhaps address him as on adult to another and not as if you were his commanding officer at the boot camp?

Secondly perhaps they might actually be busy making the changes required for the DLC to go live in the best shape possible? Some days this one wonders that they can bear to look at the forums at all.

This one respects that you have the feelings that are strong about this issue but sometimes the diplomatic approach is more constructive than the screaming into the wilderness.

what pve play does that wreck? perhaps it makes malestrom a bit harder (not even sure about that yet to be honest) and for everything else i can't even imagine how you play and why that would make a problem for you. in group dungeons you have healers or if you do them without dedicated healers you use your shield against major incoming damage. if you have any problems with any solo content now beside malestrom it is really a l2p issue. ( and even maelstrom is a none issue since you compete there against other sorcs )
in high end group content the issue sorcs have is simply damage nobody is using shields there or relies on wonky self heal.

Such an approach is, of course, always the first port of call.

However, when it is ignored, one can either passively accept or get animated about it.

We are not talking about an isolated incident here - we are talking about a pattern. This stonewalling is going on in an official thread - not a customer created one.

Past polite suggestions have lead to little or no change if they have differed significantly from what the developers wanted to do, and more especially when they carried it out in a fashion that caused collateral damage to other parts of the game.

Unfortunately, we are always having to REACT, as we are never told in advance of patch notes what the changes are going to be.

Wrobel stated quite clearly that the changes were to deal with a perceived PvP problem. there was, nor has there been any acknowledgement that this would impact PvE play, nor so much as a nod that there are so very many concerns about this.

All ZOS needed to do was take the 5 minutes out of their day necessary to say 'ok, we hear you, we will look at this', and that would have been enough in the middle of a patch testing cycle.

But we waited, politely, and what happened?

Nada... and it isn't the first time either.

The proper course of action is to passively accept.

I am not happy with the direction of some of the changes in Dark Brotherhood. I have voiced my concern. I am equally certain that they have made their decisions and my concerns are of no concern to them.

Ultimately, it is their game to fail, at least in my opinion of failure. When they have completed the transition from a pretty good game to something not worth my time, I will simply leave for a better game. ESO is not the only game out there. There will be others, and if ZOS keeps making crazy game play decisions, it won't be hard for me to find them. When that time comes.

I am not certain I will be as forgiving as you, though, and return in a few months.
