Do you want this thing to go live? Or do you also find it terribly ugly and immersion-breaking to have this weird shield thing come up whenever you block, no matter which weapon you are using? Feel free to explain your reasons.

Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

NPC's won't be watching for it to see if I'm blocking and, if I'm blocking, I know when I'm doing so as I suspect do many other players.
I don't really need the game to treat me like I'm mentally challenged and slap a big perspex shield in front of my character whenever I block, as if to say "hey, guess what you're doing".

Just to be safe we should add giant flashing red letters saying "BLOCKING" when you hold block. Because that's the only way I can be sure that I'm blocking.4 -
