Nope its not that people are getting better at the game it's ZoS nerfing npc's and "boss monsters". Playing in beta boss monsters used to be harder to kill than it is now one that comes to mind is doshia it used to be harder to kill than it is now, "mobs" also had more health or were atleast harder to kill. It's because there was an outcry that some bosses and mobs were to hard to kill early on then ZoS has made it "easier" for everyone to finish content. You can check through old patch notes talking about how they decreased veteran rank monsters health and/or damage. Then with champion points being added into the game giving even more stats to your character, you can easily 1-2 shot mobs when leveling, dungeons, trials, etc. the game gets bland very fast if there is no challenging content to play. There needs to be a "mode" mechanic to allow players to choose the difficulty level of playing ESO instead of having most everything easy mode.

Right all changes made directly because of feedback from the players. What is the problem? Did you honestly think ESO would be some hardcore game only a select few would be able to do anything in? Really? You know the elder scrolls series right?

Re-read what I've been saying instead of insinuating that I'm elitist. Also have you ever played an Elder Scrolls game? lol ES games have different modes of difficulties to allow the player to choose how hard the game content they want to play. What I'M saying is ZoS should implement the same mechanic into ESO instead of having everything extremely easy, if you can 1-2 shot "mobs" there is something wrong there right? That just makes the game boring if you don't have to put any effort into what you're doing.

You do also realize that other ES games are 'single-player' games not MMOs. Name other major MMOs that have individual difficulty modes for hundreds of thousands of players? Clearly if it were easy they would have all done it because they all experience the same amount of complaints from a minority of players wanting difficulty controls... but they haven't done it because it would be a technological nightmare to implement.
I tired that and the game is still mind numbly easy.It doesn't help at all.phaneub17_ESO wrote: »You could try to, you know, reset all your Champion points and not spend a single one. Just leave them open without allocating a single one.
ZOS has already said they have no intention of going back and updating older content, VR removal is as close as we're going to get on older zones. All DLCs are battle-leveled anyway.

Very very few people can one or two shot mobs period. There is nothing wrong from my perspective. If you dont like the direction the game is going you are only going to continue to be disappointed. Its only boring in your opinion. I have fun every day and am never bored.

Like I said in one of my earlier post ZoS could do some sort of Instancing to allow different levels of difficulty. As for "no other MMO's have done it so it can't be done" mentality is wrong. Just because it hasn't been done before doesn't mean it can't be done.

Took us some time, but it worked.
It doesn't change the fact, that it is already not that hard...this is the actual 4-player endcontent and is doable with random-groups and without that much coordination. When these dungeons were new i had to change my skillbars for different bossfights as a healer. Now it's not even neccessary to bring a dedicated healer...
But yeah...keep on with this "We are the majority of players, we want all of the content catered to us. And pls don't complain, you guys are the minority of players, you don't need that kind of content.".
What I always find strange, is how these players talk about difficulty and then say its all about 'content... content... content'... but when they are told that all they have to do is remove their CP and wear lower level gear... they freak out, "I shouldn't have to..." So in reality, it isn't about difficult content at all. If it were, they'd be happy they could adjust their own difficulty by placement of CP, attributes or gear... which begs the question, what is it really about then? Perhaps they just like to feel like they are superior to other players because they could, with full CP and gold gear, beat xyz dungeons... instead of just being out to enjoy 'content... content... content' like they claim.

lol, nah. Zenimax burned me out on the game, because they started catering to people like you, the ones that can't handle a challenge. There's so much evidence pointing towards that, just look at every single major patch note pretty much. This game used to be fun, it used to have challenge in it, you'd ask in zone/guild for help with something you couldn't do by yourself. These days though? Just kill world bosses in 2-3 hits as they've been nerfed too much and noone ever says anything at all in chat except for selling stuff or looking for pledges. How can you think that this is a good thing when the game has pretty much regressed in the MMO parts so very much that you can't even get to know your fellow players because everything is brain dead easy?

LOL, this game is pretty much a singleplayer game already with the super low difficulty that's already in the game. I mean, even skyrim on very easy was harder than the open world we got in game right now. There's no community left in the open world, so basically separating people to have different difficulty levels wouldn't affect the game at all.

It is just for you not enjoyable, the majority is happy with how it is and a lot have been joining, which did not before - me for example. This game is not in the first place a competitive environment, but a role play and PvE environment. And it will be expanded in this direction, more regions, more company created story-driven content. ZOS will add one or the other stuff with a challenge from time to time, certainly they will, but with power creep in place, this will for people like you again be "face-roll" in short. This is not a flaw of the game design, but a flaw in the way you guys play this game, it is not meant for end game. All before end game is the real content which will be expanded and where developers will focus on.

Yes, they give you guys entire regions, but you should then stay out of veteran dungeons if those are too hard for you, I can give all of the rest of the game to anyone that wants it super easy to do but leave 5% for the rest of us, ok? Is that really so hard for people to do? Let us have the vet dungeons and trials.
